Chapter 12

REINA'S POV

When school's over visit Niaomi. When school's over visit Niaomi. When school's over visit Niaomi. Those are the words going through my head. Its been two whole months since Niaomi has been awake, and its taking all of me to even wake up in the morning. To even get dressed and come to school. I finally get there, but as I walk into the door I'm ambushed by Bug.

"Aye Loco you straight?" Bug asked.

"I'm fine, just got a lot on my mind." I really didn't feel like talking to anybody besides Niaomi. I know it might seem like I'm obsessing over her, but she was my world. She is my world. I was so deep in thought I forgot Bug was still talking.

"Reina are you even listening?" 

"My bad bruh, I just got a lot on my mind right now. I'll talk to you later." I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. I made my way to class and took my seat. I put in my earbuds and just listened to a whole bunch of slow jams. 21 questions comes on, and 50 cent voice fills my ears with why Niaomi even fell for me. I'm deep in thought thinking about all the good times we've had together. Until I hear someone talking.

"What up Loco." I didn't know who said that until I recognized the voice. It was Uno. For some reason I feel like I heard that voice somewhere else. I turned my music down just enough to hear her.

"What do you want?"

"Dang Loco, I was just trying to see how you are. You my cousin remember?" 

"But you didn't seem to care about that when you was trying to get in my girl's pants, huh?" I was staring straight forward waiting for class to start. I don't understand why she's even talking to me. Everything that she has to say is irrelevant.

"My bad dude, but she fine as hell. You can't even lie." She said licking her lips. Are you serious right now?! She's right about her being fine and all, but really? How you gonna try to apologize to me, but do the one thing that made me mad in the first place. I said a couple Wu Sahs because I wasn't trying to fight anyone today.

"Yeah your right I can't lie." I said under breath as calmly as I could. I was ready for this conversation to be over. Then she had a smirk on face that quickly left when she started talking.

"I heard about your mother. I'm sorry bruh I didn't know all that was going on." She said out of nowhere. Something about the way she said that made me feel real uncomfortable. Before I could say something the teacher walked in. Thank God this conversation can be over.

Uno walked to her seat. The whole time Uno had a smirk on her face, and she kept looking at me. I don't know but for some reason all my cousins have been acting weird. School went by fast. I'm just happy its over. As I was walking to my car I saw Uno staring at me with same damn smirk on her face. What the fuck is so funny?!

"What?!" I yelled from across the parking lot. She laughed and walked off to her car. She better be happy I got shit to do. I pulled up to the hospital happy that can see her beautiful face again.

While I was walking towards the hospital and I saw a familiar face.

"What up Pitbull. What you doing here?" He took a minute and mumbled something under his breath.

"Uhh... I was visiting this girl I'm messing with. She's a nurse." He said nervously. All of a sudden a familiar car pulled up.

"I'm a see you later Loco." He jumped into the car, and it pulled off quickly. That was weird. Why was he acting like that?  I was thinking of all the possible answers while heading to Niaomi's room. Pitbull's a weird dude. I should be used to that by now. As I was walking towards Niaomi's room I could hear heartbreaking words.
