3rd person POV

"Calm down teme, I've got just the man for that"

After saying that, Naruto bit his thumb and yelled

"Summoning Jutsu"

With a poof Gamakichi appeared

"Hey Naruto, what do you need me for?"

"Hey Gamakichi, could you ask the toad boss to reverse summon us?"

"Yeah, sure. But you do know that we cannot summon him, he hasn't signed the contract with us, if you want to bring him, you'll just have to somehow connect him with you, alright see you, bye!

Naruto looks at Sasuke and thinks of ways to attach him to Sasuke. He doesn't have a lot of time as the toad boss can summon him anytime, so he does the most unexpected thing and lifts Sasuke up on his shoulder.

"Naruto put me down, right now."

"We need to be connected to be summoned together."

As if right on cue, the toad boss summons them. Lord Fugasaku sees them and goes over to them to Mount Myoboku.

"Ah, Naruto boy, what are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry toad gramps, but I'm kind of in a hurry, could you please summon Pervy Sage"

"What happened Naruto boy? Are you in trouble?"

"Kind of. Don't tell him I'm here, but summon him quickly, it's urgent"

"Okay, I'll summon him immediately" Lord Fugasaku said and went to summon Jiraya.

Sasuke just stood there watching the two talk, and thinking about the conversation he had with Naruto, about Itachi. And Naruto was talking to Kurama.

"Hey Kurama, do you think I made the right decision?"

"I'd say it's about time kit, I was tired of the village treating you like crap, i swear one of these days i was going to snap"

"Thanks Kurama, it means a lot that you care about me"

"Pftttt, no I do not"

"i love you too, you big furball"

"Yeah, whatever. I am going to sleep, and you dare not wake me up, you understand"

Kurama didn't show it but he cared a lot about Naruto, he was the first human to actually talk to him and didn't fear him or think that he was evil, scratch that, he was the first human who asked him his name and wanted to be friends with him and didn't just use him for his power.

"I was doing important research, why did you summon me lord Fugasaku?" Jiraya asked

"Yeah right, like peeking into bathhouses like a pervert" Naruto said, annoyed

"Shut up gaki, wait a minute what are you doing here, Naruto? And what's Sasuke doing here, shouldn't you be in the leaf village?"

"We left the leaf, we are currently rouge ninja, and I'll let Naruto do the rest of the explanation"

"WAIT, YOU WHAT!!"

"Pervy sage, calm down ill explain the whole thing to you, just listen alright? And Sasuke, way to drop the news!"

"Hn"

"You better have a good explanation for this, Naruto!" Jiraya said sternly.

-Time skip to after explaining the whole situation to Jiraya

"I knew that the civilian council and village elders had a lot more power than they should, but this is outrageous"

"So anyway I was going to get banished and teme here was going to get arrested, so I had no choice"

"That still does not explain, what do you need me for?"

"Okay, I want you to tell everyone that I'm dead"

"WHAT!"

"Can you stop shouting, you're even annoying than that pink haired banshee! And i need you to declare me as dead so that they don't send people after me and Sasuke, who by the way is coming with me. And also could you tell the village that their 'Precious Uchiha' is also dead or missing as he never went to Orochimaru"

"But how do you expect them to believe me? After all I have no proof"

"Can't you just tell them that my contract with toads was affected and the toads cannot feel my chakra right now, they can feel that they have lost a summoner"

"You know Tsunade will be really mad at me if she ever finds out that i lied about you, but the circumstances are not in our favour right now. Alright I'll do this, but only on one condition"

"And that is?"

"You'll keep in contact. i know that you can't always tell me your location but just let me know that you are safe, Okay?"

"Okay. But don't write Sasuke's or my name in the letters."

"So what should I call you then?"

"Call me Kitsune and Sasuke what do you want your codename to be?"

"Hn. Neko is fine"

"Okay and one more thing, lord third had given me this letter, should anything happen to him " Jiraya says while handing Naruto a scroll.

"Okay, I'll read it later, when we are somewhere safe. Now that i think about it, where do we go, Sasuke?"

"I don't know, maybe we should live in the forest like rouge ninjas or we could simply live in another village"

"Or you two can travel around the nations like me, the great toad sage, Jiraya" Jiraya said while doing his skit while reciting his name to make him look cool.

Naruto and Sasuke sweat-dropped.

"He's weird" Sasuke whispered to Naruto.

"You're telling me?" Naruto whispered sarcastically.

"So what did you two decide what you're going to do?"

"We'll travel, do missions to earn money and then go where the wind takes us" Naruto exclaimed.

"Hnn"

"Well Pervy sage we have to go, I'll send you a letter every month. Thanks for your help."

"Wait Naruto and Sasuke, take this, this will hide your faces, so you don't get caught" Jiraya said while handing them two anbu masks, one of a cat and another of a fox.

"Thanks, Pervy sage!"

"Thanks lord Jiraya."

"Kid, you should learn some politeness from your friend, see you again, next year" with that Jiraya disappeared. And Naruto and Sasuke were poofed back to their original spot

"See, 'off the grid'"

"Yeah" Sasuke said with a small but noticeable smile. "Now let's go dobe, and don't forget to wear the mask"

"Yeah"

Naruto was happy, happy because he didn't have to pretend that he was an idiot or that he was the dead last, he was finally free.

So how was it? Also tell me what pairings you want. And i am trying to make longer chapters. Also Naruto is really powerful and can use mokuton too. Also I'm going to make Sasuke a cat summoner because Uchihas and cats are really close.
