Chapter 1: The Invitation

This is a fanfiction about Liam Payne and Mikhail Varshavski. A boy x boy romance. Another artist will also be involved in this story. These are real people. I do not want to ruin the relationship and the life of these people, this is just fanfiction about them. Spread love and support on this fanfiction not dislike and hatred.

-Mike's POV-

It was just a regular day at the hospital, with no drama or any severe injury patient in the hospital. Mike just takes note of yesterday's patient nothing major.

As he continues to write his notes, he was interrupted by a sudden knock on the door, followed by the door opening by a nurse holding more papers he ordered.

She places the papers he requested on his table and says thank you and the nurse nods, smiles, and heads out. He continues to take notes and once that part was finished he check the papers that the nurse put on his desk.

Most of them are just x-ray scans, few paper works, and one particular caught his attention. It's an invitation to the beach house. He questions why this invitation letter is in here. He knows that he already said that he will be off for 2 weeks and the invitation he received is from his email, not a hard copy.

He reads half of it and it's exactly the same but he got interrupted yet again by the door opening not even a knock. It's his friend.

"Hey bestie, are you almost done?" A woman said holding a bag filled with snacks. He quickly hugs her and she hugs her back. He

She has been his best friend for a long time but she has a restaurant to run in London so she is usually busy but now she and Mike have been invited to a 2 weeks vacation to their friends' mansion to celebrate their company's success.

Mike finish everything and told some of the staff that he is leaving and they smile, waved goodbye, and said enjoy the vacation. He had to admit he has been working way too much and he needed a break.

His friend followed him to his car and drive back to his apartment. They continue to catch up like what's new in their lives. They just enjoyed talking to each other as he drives.

-Liam's POV-

It's just a regular day at the studio. He records some of the songs that he has been working on for a while but something is missing. He still can't find what's missing on his track this time. As the handsome artist walks in a circle thinking about what is missing. He got interrupted by his alarm and realizes that Bear should be here in a couple of minutes.

He and his wife split up last year but they are still okay, Bear spends most of his time in his wife's house but on some weekends he visits and stays at his place for a day, he would stay at Liam's home and just have a great time. True, they could have been a great family... They still are just a bit different.

He places his notes down and heads to his front door. She usually is 4 minutes late but he still waits at the door at the given time anyway.

He prepared lunch and snacks and a movie that he and Beach can watch together. Liam felt a bit worried something happened to them. It happens every time he waits at the door for that ringing of the doorbell. He can't help it he is his son and that'd still be his wife. He still gets worried when they are late.

Liam tried to calm himself by playing lofi music.

After a while, he heard the doorbell ring and before they could even walk towards the door, Liam already opened it.
