Chapter 2

KIM'S RESIDENCE 

"Sooyoungie~" Taehyung oppa's mom welcomed me as soon as we entered the house. 

"Oh, eomma~" I greeted her back and walked towards her for a hug. 

"I'm so happy that you have a time for me this time." She said and caressed my hair and smiled at me really brightly. 

"Of course eommonim~" I answered her. 

"Eomma! your son is also here?" Taehyung oppa said as he closes the trunk and I saw that his hand is full.

"Aigoo~ Taehyung-ah don't be jealous of your fiance. You know how I love Sooyoungie." She said and we just laughed. 

I went to oppa and was about to get one of the plastic bags but when I was about to reach out he moved it away from me which made me looked at him.

"I can handle this, love. Go inside with mom." He said to me and smiled. 

I smiled and kissed his cheek and went to his mom who's watching us lovingly.

KITCHEN

"Eommonie, I heard Yerim is already here?" I asked her while arranging the ingredients for our Strawberry shortcake. 

"Oh yes, before I forgot. Can you call her in her room? She's with Jungkook." She said but then paused for a while.

"Nevermind, I'll just ask nanny Ester--" She was about to complete her sentence but I cut her.

I know she doesn't want to make me feel uncomfortable but I want to erase that thought since I know because of that Taehyung oppa is doubting as well. 

"I can do it eomma." I said to her. 

"Are you sure?" She assured me.

"Yes, of course. I'll just call her." I said while smiling and immediately went upstairs. 

I am already near Yeri's room when the door suddenly opened and I saw Yeri crying. 

When she faced me she got shocked. 

"Did something happened?" I asked her immediately and she immediately wiped her tears. 

"Nothing, eonnie. We're just watching a sad movie and I was just to get some drinks." She explained but that doesn't really suffice it. 

"Oh okay." I reacted slowly and stared at her.

"When did you arrived?" She asked me which snapped my senses.

"Just now, btw, let's go down? we'll bake now." I said to her and she smiled and nodded at me. 

AFTER 30 MINUTES

We finally put our batter in the oven and now we just need to wait for about less than an hour to design it and all. 

"Should we go to the living room first while waiting for the cake?" Eommonie asked and Yeri and I both nodded. 

While we're walking towards the living room, we heard someone talking and as we walk further we discovered Taehyung and Jin oppa are talking while Joohyun eonnie is just scrolling through her phone. 

"Eonnie!!" I shouted and with that Joohyun eonnie looked at me with a smile on her face and ran towards me. 

"You two act as if you haven't seen each other the other day." Jin oppa said in disbelief and we couldn't help but laugh. 

Joohyun eonnie's eyes landed on Tae oppa's mom and we all know that they're not on that "good" terms yet. 

"Good afternoon, ma'am." Eonnie greeted her. I thought eommonie will scowl at her but she didn't but instead she smiled and pulled eonnie into a hug. 

"You don't need to be formal to me, Joohyun-ah." She said which made us all smile but when my eyes landed on Yerim I caught her looking at me but when she noticed, she looked away immediately. 

Is there something wrong? I asked myself as I stared at Yerim. I can notice that she's not in her usual self. 

But regardless of all the thoughts on my mind, we all sat down and have a little chit-chat. 

"Seokjinie and Joohyunie, when do you plan to have a baby?" Eommonie asked which made the both of them quiet. 

"Eomma, why are you asking them that?" Taehyung oppa asked and placed his hand around me. 

"There's nothing wrong with my question, son." She defended herself.

"Just let them be mom." Tae oppa said.

"Okay then so I'll go to you. When do you plan to marry Sooyoungie?" She asked which made my throat all of a sudden dry. 

I can feel that Taehyung oppa is looking at me which is why I am trying my best not to look at him. 

"When the time is right, eomma." He said and hugged me. 

"I want grandchildren, Taehyung-ah" She said in a slightly warning yet sounds like a tantrum. 

"Yeri will give you, eomma." He said while giggling. 

We all laugh but we are caught in a slightly awkward moment when Jungkook walked towards us and sat down next to Yerim. 

I saw how shock Yerim was but then again she looked at me the moment Jungkook sat beside him. 

Which made me looked at Tae oppa and out of nowhere I suddenly felt like kissing him that's why I did. 

He looked at me and smiled at me. 

"I feel like I want to come here more often." He whispered which made me confused.

"Why?" I asked him.

He smiled at me widely and suddenly pinched my cheeks. 

"Because you are extra sweet whenever we are here." He said while pinching my cheeks. 

I slapped his hands because his pinch really hurts. 

"Ouuch!" I reacted as soon as he let go of my cheeks.

He then kissed my cheeks.
