the mysterious man

Reki wiped his tears away as he was nearing his house, trying to contain his sniffles as to be as quiet as he could so he wouldn't get caught. As he slowly opened up his gate to his shock, there, in front of his house stood a tall figure. he was so surprised he let out a quiet yelp, to which the person heard. The mysterious person turned around to face Reki. There sanding in front of Reki was a well built man, with the same bright red hair and red eyes as he had.

"your....!" The mysterious man said, looking like he was in shock. After a long silence Reki's mum opened up the door to see the both of the staring at each other. "Mum there is a suspicious man standing here." Reki said snapping out of his daze. His mum sighed and told the two to come in so that she could explain everything to him. Reki's mum explained to Reki about how he was not actually her son and how he was adopted. She explained how this man was his dad and not until recently did he find out that Reki existed. Reki's dad continued to introduce himself as Roko Hawk, he explained how he was a famous skateboarder. Reki and his dad talked for hours, they got along very well and had alot in common. Ryoko asked Reki if he was willing to come live with him in America, and become a real family. Reki was about to say that he wanted to stay in Japan but the he remembered Langa, and how he betrayed Reki. He remembered 'S' and Adam. What Reki needed now was a new start, and this was his opportunity. He agreed to the offer and was told that they would leave tomorrow. 

Reki walked into his room half in a daze, so much had happened in the last day and it was hard to take it all in. he layed in his bed just staring at the ceiling, when he suddenly sat up remembering something. The hours into it his hands started to go numb, but he knew that he had to finish it. He admired his work from afar and smiled. He stuck a note onto it, grabbed it and left the house. Reki started speeded down the hill on his board while holding his work that he used to go down every day for school , but this time I took a right. He climbed over the fence and placed it rightin front of the door. While he was walking away he truned around once before jumping the fence again and whispered, "goodbye." tears started to fall once again as he skated back to his house.

The next day Langa got up and headed to school but when he started heading out of the door, he tripped on something and tumbled forwards, he looked back and saw a brand-new skateboard. He could tell that it was crafted by Reki, he grinned as he inspected it. He ripped of the note on the board and his smile turned into tears. He jumped back up carrying the board and skated as fast as he could to Reki's house. Reki's mum answered the door and with her usual warm smile. "hello ma'am, I am here to see reki." As soon as Langa said that Reki's mums smile faded and Langa could see the glint of sadness in her eyes. "I am sorry dear but Reki doesn't live here anymore, he went to go live with his dad. It was a last moment thing." Rekis mum continued to try and confort Langa but all here words where blurred out. All he could think of was the note Reki left which read 'goodbye.' 

*Achoo* Reki sneezed as he though someone must be talking about him. He turned his head to the right and stared out at the airplane wing and the vast sky.
