Another Chance..?||Three Shots (Part One)

"Ahaan...tu...tu galat samajh raha hai.."

Mayank knew it was all over, Ahaan definitely heard everything but how can he give up without trying? After all, for him it was more than easy to manipulate Ahaan.

But little did he knew that Ahaan wasn't listening anything, he was lost, lost in her eyes.
Finally, finally he got to about the reason, the reason for which she destroyed her life. And now, all he was left with was guilt and anger, no he was not mad at Mayank, he was mad at himself.

She could see his eyes getting teary, she could see his heart breaking into pieces, she herself wanted to cry but she was afraid it would break him even more.

Ishqi did all this for my sister..? And I...I made her life a living hell for that! She destroyed herself, faced all the humiliation and still didn't utter a word....for whom? For my very own sister! And all this while, I was trying to hate her...I was trying to destroy her life!? Kartik was right....I don't deserve her, how can I even apologize..?

He was ashamed of himself and rightly so but Ishqi, she still cared more about him than herself.

I knew it would break him...

Mayank was still there, blabbering about how it's all Ishqi's fault but when he finally noticed that both of them aren't paying him any attention, he knew what to do next.

I can handle Ishqi, problem is Ahaan so let's just end this problem here!

He picked a metal rod and proceeded towards Ahaan.
Fortunately, Ishqi saw him but she didn't know what to do. She didn't had much time to think, he was going to attack her Ahaan!

Without any second thought, Ishqi pushed Ahaan aside but she couldn't save herself from that metal rod.
As soon as the rod hit her, she went completely blank and fainted.

Ahaan always thought that his biggest fear is his family getting humiliated but he was wrong. Today, when Ishqi is lying lifelessly on the floor, he realised what really fear is. He didn't knew what to do, he just wanted to cry, but this was not the time for that, his Ishqi needed him.

"Yha ho kya raha!!?" Kartik couldn't hold himself anymore. His brother suddenly asked him to gather everyone in his room but he himself wasn't there! When he texted him, he just simply replied that he would be back in a minute.

"Bhai hame bula k khud kaha chale gaye!?"  He was already quite irritated by the way his Bhai is treating Ishqi lately.

"Mai btata hu!" Mayank had this last chance, he couldn't let it slip away so easily and after all, manipulating people was nothing for him.

"Yeh sab Ishqi aur Ahaan ka plan tha, Ishqi ne shaadi bhi isiliye chhodi!" He cried.

"Kya bakwas hai yeh!?" Kartik could clearly see where it is going.

"Bakwas nhi sach hai! Ishqi aur Ahaan mujhe aur Rhea ko cheat kar rhe the, isiliye Ahaan ne Ishqi se shaadi todne ko kaha aur ab resort me ana bhi un dono ka plan hai!"

Mayank knew no one was going to believe him, Ahaan's family trusted him but he had his plan ready!
Sarla Aunty would definitely create a scene!

"Lo ji mujhe toh pehle se hi shak tha! Ishqi toh hai hi aisi aur Ahaan, vo bhi kuch kam nhi hai! Shak toh mujhe ussi din ho gya jab ye bcche party kar rhe the aur yeh Ishqi aur Ahaan mujhe saath me mile the! Dekh lijiye! Apka pota sanskar ka bas dhong hi krta hai, ye hai uska asli chehra!"

"Nhi Sarla Aunty, Ahaan aisa nhi hai!" Rhea couldn't believe it, yes she doesn't love Ahaan but she has emotionally invested in him and it would break her heart it she found out that Ahaan was cheating, that he was using her blind faith in him for his own gain.

"Rehne do Rhea, tum bhi kise samjha rahi ho"
Kartik always knew that Ahaan and Ishqi had feelings for each other but what Mayank is saying is obviously garbage. He somehow always knew that Mayank was hiding something but this was just too obvious.

"Accha agar yeh sach nhi hai toh kya hai?"

"Bhai ayenge to sab bta denge!"

"Doctor! Ishqi kaisi hai?" Ahaan rushed to the doctor.

"Aap unhe time pe yaha le aaye the, jyada blood loss nhi hua, she is out of danger" She smiled. She literally has his life, he loves her so much.

"C..can I meet her?" He was hesitant, he didn't knew if he could face her but..but he needed to see her.

"She is unconscious but yeah, you can meet her"
He sighed, now that she is unconscious, he could atleast meet her without any hesitance.
But he was wrong again, seeing her in such a miserable state because of him was disturbing.
He sat near her. He was having an emotional outburst, he himself didn't knew what this feeling was.
Before he could even know it, he was talking to her.

"You know Ishqi, I always wondered why you did what you did but not even once this thought crossed my mind that maybe...maybe it was Mayank who did something wrong, something that forced you to take such a step. You know what I thought? I thought that you broke this marriage because of me! Silly I know! I thought you had feelings for me but...but I was wrong. Now I realise, you didn't had feelings for me, I had feelings for you. That's why I was so shaken when you did something I consider wrong. You were right Ishqi, I am a coward, that's why I couldn't except my feelings like you. But now I want to say, I love you Ishqi, I love you and everything about you! But...I don't think I can confess now. Kartik was right, I don't deserve you now. I...I don't deserve you that's why I am confessing when I know you can't hear me..." He finally looked at her face and was lost in those beautiful eyes....yes, she was awake, she was not unconscious.

She heard everything...
