Demigods raised on Olympus

Chapter 5

Percy POV: Dinner time for Camp Half-Blood! WOO HOO! I was hungry and the last food we had was back on Olympus.  We had to sit at Cabin 11 because we weren't claimed yet. Not that bad.

Luke yelled, "Eleven Fall in!" as Annabeth set off to her cabin.

The whole cabin was about 20 of us and we walked to the pavilion a bunch of people were there. The word of the bathroom incident spread very fast. Wherever I walked by campers pointed at me and murmured something about toilet water.

At the pavilion, there were torches blazed around the marble columns. There was a central fire. Each cabin had its own table though four tables were empty but, cabin eleven was too overcrowded. I had to squeeze onto the edge with half my butt hangout out. How do people even do this? 

I was just looking around till my eyes noticed Dionysus sitting with a bunch of satyrs. Aunt Hestia told me he was the camp director. I smiled at him. He did not smile back.

Chiron pounded his hoof against the floor and everyone fell silent. He raised a glass and yelled, "To the gods,". 

Everybody else raised their glass and yelled, "To the gods!"

Everyone went to the fire and gave burning offerings to the gods.  Athena told us about this. The only reason I paid attention was for the food. I need food to survive. I am a growing boy. Most kids gave it to their godly parents so I gave mine as a sign to my dad that we reached Camp Half-Blood. I a sure everyone else did the same.  Luke said they liked the smell. I wonder why they would want to smell burnt food. I saw a little shock on Thaila and Bianca's faces.

Thaila looked at me and whispered, "You don't seem so shocked."

"Why would I?" I asked, "I thought Athena mentioned this part before we came."

"First time Percy pays attention. This should be on god's tv channel. World wide news," she said laughing.

"Also Chiron told me to say something. Right, Capture the flag this Friday. Cabin 5 leading and Cabin 11... Uh what else right new campers, say hi to them whatnot that's it," said Diyonsus boredly.

Then we went to sit down at our table. The table may have been crowded but at least I got to sit by Thaila and Bianca. The fact that you can only sit at the table which your godly parent owns is sad. What if you have friends from other tables? You can't sit by them. I always like to eat dinner with all my family. Bianca, Thaila, Hazel, Jason, and Nico.  Hermes called in a favor for us to sit at his table. Being besties with the gods ain't so bad. In fact, it's more of a gift. Other campers were going to their assigned seats. Reminds me of lunchtimes before I was taken to Olympus. I had to go to school till 2nd grade. I remember everyone from class. Even Nancy Bobfit. Which I wish to forget. Anyways we started to eat with us having a light conversation.

"Oh boy I wasn't hungry like this for a while," said Thaila.

"You guys must be, I mean I didn't get attacked by monsters but I am still hungry!" said Luke who was sitting right next to Thaila. Blush crept on her cheeks. 

"As long as he is a nice dude I am okay with this." whispered Bianca who was sitting in the middle of me and Thaila.

"Yea I wouldn't mind too," I whispered back. Smiles crept our faces. We both were thinking the same thing.

"We should make sure Thaila is okay with it?" said Bianca.

"Right!" I said. So we both snickered at the sight of those two talking.

"What's so funny, Add me into this joke," said Thaila.

"Me too," said Luke.

"Nothing just something we had in mind" I smirked at Thaila.

Thaila smacked my head. Owwwwww.... 

"That hurt Thals, "I whined.

"Then don't think that stuff," said Thaila.

WHY DIDN'T SHE SMACK BIANCA. Injustice! I feel betrayed. I must fight for my equal rights. 

"So what was the inside joke, That you three understood?" said Luke.

"NOTHING," said Thaila.

Oh really! Are you sure?

"You guys seem close even before you guys came here," said Luke.

We all froze. How are we gonna answer this?

"We were really close friends before this and went to the same school." said Bianca.

SMART! THANK YOU FOR SAVING OUR BUTTS BIANCA! 

"Makes sense," said Luke.

"So where you guys from?" asked Luke.

"From New York we went to academy nearby than on the way home monsters attacked us," said Thaila who made up everything.

"Nice." 

Then Chiron came. 

"We have some new guests here today? Please welcome our 3 newcomers Percy, Thaila, and Bianca," said Chiron.

They all looked at us. I waved. Everyone smiled at us but the Ares Table. So the word must have gone around. Some cabin heads introduced themselves to us and we smiled. Camp Half-Blood must be nice. Not as bad as I imagined but if there is a traitor here then that's bad. Then we ate dinner. We could imagine any food and we could eat it. I love this. We had the same thing back on Olympus but Demeter made it so we could only have vegetables and fruits. She's just mean. Espically to Nico and Bianca. Just salty that Hades cheated on her daughter. I mean any mom would. 

After lunch, we went to the tightly filled cabin of Hermes children. Some children were unclaimed others were Hermes children. I lied in my sleeping bag having questions about camp Half-Blood. I wondered so many things which I didn't have answers to. Next morning right after breakfast. I, Thaila, and Bianca were getting ready to spy on people. When a camper said that Chiron requested us to come to Camp Half-Blood.

When we got there he looked worried. He looked at Bianca the most. I wonder why.

"The council sent me some message on some Nicohlas dude," Disynous said.

"Who?" said Bianca.

"That small brat brother of yours."

"Nico, What about him?"

"He went missing from Olympus right after you guys left here, and we don't know where he is. He left no sign of where he was going.  Even the gods can't track him." said Chiron.

Where could he be I thought? The shock on our faces was priceless.

I'll stop right there. Left you guys on a cliffhanger.
