"MEREDITH GREY I AM GOING TO SKIN YOU ALIVE!" Oh, how Meredith wished the floor would swallow her up.

Her fellow interns turned to her, George's eyes widening at the sight of a clearly pissed off attending headed straight for them. Meredith let out a near-silent 'god help me'.

"Wait isn't that-" Cristina looked between the two women, mouth hanging open and eyes wide.

"You three," Alyssa addressed the interns sat around her sister with a pointed look as she threw herself down in the empty seat beside Meredith. "From this point on you are blind, deaf and stupid. You repeat a word of this to anyone and I will make your lives living hell, got it?"

The three nodded in tandem, one of them going as far as to place their hands over their ears.

Satisfied with the intern's responses Alyssa turned to Meredith, unimpressed with the look of faux innocence she wore. "You are going to tell me exactly what happened last night because all I know is that I woke up with a random guy in my bed who, as it turns out, isn't so random because apparently, he's the head of neuro here!"

"Yeah I know," Meredith sighed. "He's in charge of the case I'm on."

"Oh my god," Alyssa dropped her head into her hands with a bitter laugh. "Just tell me what happened at the damn bar."

"Well..."

[the previous night...]

Dragging Alyssa over to the bar Meredith had to all but force her sister onto one of the stools. The older of the two had been antsy about going out from the very moment Meredith had shown up at her door and begged her to go out. Alyssa really had every intention of standing firm with the first 'no' she'd given her sister but then Meredith had mentioned something about it being her last night of freedom before her internship began and just like that Alyssa was trailing after her sister.

It didn't help that Meredith could pull off the puppy dog eyes like it was nobody's business.

"One drink," Alyssa repeated herself for the hundredth time as Meredith took the stool to her left. "I mean it. I'm not spending my first day as an attending hungover."

"Yeah, yeah," The younger of the two waved the older off. Waving the bartender down, Meredith flashed him a smile as she eyed the array of bottles displayed behind the bar. "Two shots of tequila please."

The man was happy to oblige and made quick work of serving up the two's shots.

"I agreed to a drink Mer," Alyssa sighed. "Not shots."
