I SO have been dying to write this. 

I KNOW I haven't written in a VERY long time, since I had been busy with school. BUT, yo gal just graduated!!! So please consider this VERY LONG One Shot an apology, I'm gonna write daily now!!!

At age 20, (Y/N) (L/N)'s interests were, in no particular order- Food, Books, Friends, Travel and Sanji. Yes, you read that right; Sanji. Her womanizer and pervert of a coworker. Although she loved working at the Thousand Sunny- a multimillion-dollar cruise travelling the seven seas- the Curly eyebrowed cook was her favourite part of her job. Working as a nurse along with Doctor Chopper made her meetings with Sanji rare, but the times she got to see him were enough to last her until their next meeting.

Her eyes opened as the first rays of the sun peeked from the horizon. Walking out on her private balcony, she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. Her moment of peace was interrupted when a scream was heard below her.

"MELLORINE!!!" Sanji swooned towards Nami, one of your best friends, who, in turn, screamed in surprise.

 It was frustrating at times how much he was attracted to every woman in the world. If this went on, he would never even notice you, at all; only seeing you as another woman to worship and praise for something like breathing.

{POV change}

"Early again, (Y/N)- san?" Robin, your other best friend, called out from the balcony beside you.

"Yeah, I love to see the sunrise. Plus, this is the most peace I get when I'm not asleep" 

Robin chuckled. "(Y/N)-san, I never see you during meals, why don't you sit with us from now on?" 

"Are you sure? I wouldn't wanna be a bother,"

"No! Not at all. Nami and I rarely see you nowadays so it will be good to have you with us!"

"Oh, okay then!" You beamed at her. After a small conversation, you went back inside to get dressed for the day and headed towards the private dining hall for the staff. You walked towards the table where Robin, Nami and everyone else sat. Your knees buckled from nervousness as you never really had a proper conversation with anyone besides Nami, Chopper and Robin.

"(Y/N)! Hi! Come sit!" Chopper happily patted the empty seat next to him, and you gladly took a seat after quietly saying hello to everyone. "Hi! You must be (Y/N)!" Usopp, the leader of the security and defence team, chimed from beside you. 

"Yup, that's me" You gave him a gentle smile and started a small conversation with Chopper about today's agenda. From your seat, you had a clear view of the kitchen, where Sanji stood. He looked so calm and collected in the middle of the chaos of the kitchen. Directing everyone with a kind smile and talking in the friendliest way possible. That was what you loved about him. How he loved his work and separated his work personality from his private life. At times you would catch him in the kitchen late at night when everyone was asleep, cooking or just on the deck with a cigarette in his mouth and a glass of wine in his hand.

He gracefully carried the plates and bought them to your table. Putting a plate in front of all the ladies, yours being the last, he sat down while the other staff bought breakfast for the boys. "Ah! (Y/N)- san! How wonderful to have you here! Now I can enjoy looking at your beautiful face with my meal!"
