The running away

In the morning Persephone noticed that all her big bags were gone and she figured that they were on the train she noticed that there was a note on the pillow next to the one she had her head on, the note read: 

You weren't up yet so I took the liberty to taking your stuff down with mine, hope you wont be mad, I left you some clothes on your dresser and I will see you when you come down to the common room. -RAB 

She smiled at how nice her brother can be at time, she was just sad that he didn't show his emotions more. She hoped that with time at the Potters that it might change. She got dressed and made her way to the common room where she found her brother and her boyfriend playing wizards chess on the sofa 'Yes! I win again' she heard Regulus say and she smiled fondly at her brother. She cleared her throat and both their heads snapped up towards her, she walked down the rest of the stairs and went to sit next to Severus. 

She felt the envelope in her pocket and took it out, Regulus saw it out the corner of his eye, 'What's that?' he asked pointing to the envelope 'The Dark Lord gave it to me and told me to open it what my curiosity is at it's limit.' 'Do you know what's in it?' Severus asked, she shook her head, Severus and Regulus continued to play wizards chess until Slughorn walked in and told them that they had to get ready to go on the train. 

They got their bags together and made their way to the Hogwarts Express. On their way there Persephone noticed James and nodded to him and he nodded back. She saw James whisper something to Sirius then point at her, he started to walk over. 'What Persephone?' he asked not looking at her 'Can me and Regulus talk to you in our compartment when we get on the train?' 'What for?' he asked finally looking at her 'We just want to talk Sirius.' 'Alright' he said as he walked back to his friends. She looked down and continued walking to the train with her brother and her boyfriend.  

Once on the train they waited for Sirius to show up, it was 10 minutes before he did show up and he sat next to Regulus on the bench opposite Persephone and Severus. 'Does he have to be here?' Sirius asked gesturing to Severus 'I want him to be here and he needs to hear this too.' Persephone then began to tell Sirius about her meeting with James and what they spoke about. Once she finished talking she waited for his reaction. 'Why did you just now tell me about this?' he asked annoyed that she waited so long. 'I didn't know how you would take it and I was afraid.' she said looking down, Sirius went to kneel in front his sister 'I'm glad you two are coming with me, I've wanted us out of that house for ages.' she looked at her brother and went to hug him 'Thank you Sirius.' she mumbled into his shoulder. 

Severus was still sitting still not saying anything, he waited until Sirius left to say something. 'So you are going to stay at Potter's?' she nodded 'How long for?' he asked looking at her 'Not long I hope, just a few weeks until I have sorted out mine and Reggie's money so our mother cannot find us then I'll buy a house for us.' she said leaning her head on his shoulder, he put his arm around her and rested his head on hers. 

They woke up to Regulus shacking them, 'Wake up we're at Kingscross and mother and father are waiting for us.' Persephone got up and grabbed her bags and so did Severus, as they were getting off the train Persephone was telling Severus that once she has the house he can come over so he doesn't have to stay with his father. She was pulled away from him by her mother and they apparated to 12 Gimmauld place. She and her brothers were sent to their bedrooms to unpack their things. 

As Persephone was sorting her things she heard her mother shouting for her. 'Persephone!' 'Coming Mother!' Persephone shouted back. She made her way down the stairs to see her mother and father sitting at the dinner table with their hands clasped together 'Persephone sit down.' he father said and she did what she was told. 'Persephone, your father and I have been talking and we don't want you to see the Snape boy anymore.' 'What, why?' she asked 'Because he will tarnish the blood line.' Her father said 'Just because he's a half blood, you don't want me to see him anymore?' she asked getting angry, her skin started to go paler than usual. 'Just don't see him anymore, if you do we'll go to the dark lord and there will be consequences.' Persephone walked up to her room and repacked her bags, she went to Regulus's room then Sirius's to tell them to do the same, they shrunk their bags so they could put them in their pockets, so their parents wouldn't notice. 

They all walked down stairs 'Mother, is it alright if we go for a walk?' Regulus asked their mother 'That's fine dear, just be back for dinner.' she said absentmindedly. They all walked to the door and left for the last time. Just as they were half way to the Potter residence Persephone was summoned by the dark lord. 'Sirius take Regulus to the Potters and take my stuff (She said as she emptied her pockets) I have to go and see the dark lord.' she walked away from her brothers and apparated to Riddle manor, she walked in and saw that no one was there only her and the dark lord 'My Lord' she said as she walked to sit next to him. 'Have you opened the envelope yet?' she shook her head and pulled the envelope out of her pocket 'Open it' he said to her, she opened it and she saw a ring and a necklace. 

She took the ring out and looked at it, it was a silver ring with a little snake and emerald stone on it, she put it on her finger and it shrunk down to fit her perfectly, she took out the necklace and Voldemort helped her put it on. 'What's this for, if you don't mind my asking?' Voldemort stood up and motioned for her to follow him, he lead her to a bathroom where she looking in the mirror and noticed that her appearance had slightly changed,. 

Her eyes had changed from a grey-blue to a brown-red and her skin was more pale than it usually was, she noticed that she was slightly taller as well. 'You are now my heir, you have adopted some of my features and your personality might change but it might not. Before you ask I chose you are my heir because I trust you with my life, you understand me and I feel that you will look after my snake Nagini. Also before I forget your name has now changed, it is no longer Persephone Black it is Persephone Riddle, make sure your family knows about this and inform the school and who ever you please.' Voldemort started to walk back to the room they were in previously 'My Lord' he turned around 'I'm no longer staying at 12 Grimmauld place, I've ran away. Myself and my brothers are staying with Sirius's friend.' 'And who might that friend be?' he asked 'James Potter' she said looking away from him 'Someone on the light side?' he asked her 'Yes and his parents know I'm on your side.' 'Are you permanently staying there?' she shook her head 'Then it's fine.' he said continuing to walk away 'Could you not tell my parents?' she asked in a small voice 'I wont' he said not turning back. 

They spoke for a while longer until she had to leave, she was about to apparate to Grimmauld place then she remembered that she was no longer living there, she instead though of Regulus and apparated to where he was, she opened her eyes and saw that she was standing in front of James and his parents as well as her brothers 'Uh hi.' she said nervously 'Are you Persephone?' Mrs Potter asked 'Yes I am, you must be James's mother, nice to meet you ma'am.' she went to shake Mrs Potter's hand and got startled when she got pulled into a hug. 'You don't have to call me ma'am Persephone just call me Mia, it's what Sirius calls me.' she said smiling at her, Persephone turned to her brothers, 'Could I talk to you two outside please.' they nodded and walked outside. 

Persephone told them what the dark lord has told her and she made them promise not to tell anyone yet. Once they walked into the house James's parents asked to speak to Persephone in the kitchen. 'So I asked you to come here because we know you are on the dark side and we want to know if you have bad intentions in being here.' 'I know that you think the dark side is evil, but its not. The dark lord is working towards equality, he loves muggles and muggleborns and all that but Dumbledore has been putting the imperius curse on all the death eaters and the dark lord and forcing them to kill so he can be the one that takes over the wizarding world to get rid of muggles.' she looked at them and they looked shocked 'Is this true?' asked James's dad 'Yes it's true, I heard him say it him self, he was talking about someone faking a prophesy to make the dark lord try and kill a child which will bring his demise.' 

She kept explaining to the Potters and once she was done Mia took her up to her own room which Sirius put her stuff in. Since it was late Mia told her to get some sleep and they will talk more in the morning.
