The Temporary Residence

When Persephone woke up she heard voices down the stairs, she looked to her side and saw that Severus was still there, she smiled and moved his hair out of his face 'You know its rude to look at people while they sleep.' he said opening his eyes and smiling 'Good morning my love.' she said as she leaned in to kiss him, as they broke apart Severus looked at her and smiled to himself he reached up and put his hand on her cheek, 'I love you Persephone' she smiled 'I love you too Severus.' he was about to lean in to kiss her when the door opened and in walked Remus 'I see you two are up, come down stairs Sirius wants to talk to you.' and he walked out. 

The two of them shared a look and laughed, they got up and Severus realised that he didn't have any clothes with him, 'Just put a cleaning spell on your clothes and it will be alright.' she said as she went to grab her shirt and trousers, 'Sev should I wear my studded boots?' she asked turning around to look at him 'If you want to my dear.' she smiled and went to her bathroom to change. When she got out she went to grab the cloak that Severus gave her for her birthday, she did some quick make up and then she took Severus down stairs. 

When they got down stairs they saw that Regulus, Remus, Sirius and James were sitting in a half moon shape, 'What's going on?' she asked them 'We want to talk about your relationship with Severus.' said Remus, the two Slytherins sat down in front of the rest of the group 'We want to make sure he has good intentions towards you.' She looked at Regulus 'Reggie you know he's good to me.' 'Yes I do but they need to see what I have seen.' he didn't like going against his sister but his brother doesn't trust her boyfriend and needs to see that he can be trusted. 'Pa-Sirius, any questions you would like to ask Severus?' Sirius nodded and stood up, Persephone rolled her eyes at her dramatic brother 'Severus, do you plan to marry my sister?' he asked and Severus tensed up 'Sirius, we're only 16 we shouldn't be thinking about marriage just yet.' she said trying to deflect the question, 'I just want to know if he has plans for the future and if he does what they are.'. 

He said trying and failing to be innocent 'So Severus?' 'Well I love Persephone with everything I am and I want to be with her forever, she's the best thing that ever happened to me.' he said turning to look at her with a smile on his face. James looked at Severus face and saw pure love and realised that Regulus was right 'Sirius, come and sit down.' said Remus 'Now I get to ask a question, Remus what are your intentions with my brother?' Persephone asked which shocked both Sirius and Remus 'What do you mean?' 'Don't think I'm stupid, I've seen the way you look at Sirius. You love him and I can tell because the look on your face is the look I see on Sev's face when he looks at me. So I'll ask again what are your intentions with my brother?' She asked looking him straight in the face. 'I guess I love him.' 'You guess?' she asked 'No I love him a lot, I just thought he was straight.' After Remus said that Persephone burst out laughing 'Straight! You thought he was straight, this generation of Black men are not straight, they are gay as hell.' she said through laughter. 

She continued to laugh eventually James, Sirius and Remus got up to go out for the day, leaving the three Slytherins in the house. 'So what should we do today?' Regulus asked feeling boredom settle over the three of them 'We could go out? It's raining but I'm sure we can find something to do.' she said trying to think of an activity everyone would like 'How about we go to Diagon Alley and get ice cream or something?' Severus said breaking the silence 'Brilliant, why didn't I think of that? Well come on then, lets not wait for the grass to grow, we've got stuff to buy.' she said sorting her cloak and heading to the door. The other two followed her out the door and they went to Diagon Alley. The trio walked to the Leaky Cauldron to get to Diagon Alley and went to Florean Fortescue's ice cream parlour. 

They spent most of the day in Diagon Alley and when it was near 5pm they decided to head beck to the house. On their way there they were laughing and then suddenly black smoke appeared in front of them which revealed Lord Voldemort, both Severus and Persephone got down on their knees and bowed their head, Regulus stayed behind them not sure on what to do. 'Rise my children.' said Voldemort in  raspy voice. 'My Lord.' said Persephone still having her head bowed 'Hello miss Riddle, I trust you have told everyone you are close to?' she nodded and raised her head, 'Some people took it harder then others.' 'And who might they be?' he asked her moving to stand next to her 'It was James Potter, he was upset I didn't tell him when I told my brothers.' she said as they all started to walk again, 'Do you mind if I talk to the Potters and others who might be there?' he asked unsure if he should help the situation. 'It might be better if they hear it from the man himself.' she said as they got to the front door of the Potters residence. 

When Regulus opened the door and walked in the other three found that they couldn't get in, 'What is this?' Persephone asked putting her hand in the middle of the entry way, Regulus grabbed her hand and tried to pull her through the doorway, Mia came around the corner 'Oh dear, I forgot that you are a vampire Persephone, come in you too Severus.' Persephone and Severus managed to walk through the door but Voldemort was till out side 'Mia what about Voldemort? He's came here to explain that he's not evil.' Mia looked unsure but invited him anyway. He stepped into the house 'Lovely home you have Mrs Potter.' he said as he took off his glamour. 

They went to the kitchen and sat down at the table, Tom explained everything that has happened during his life and his encounters with Dumbledore. By the end of it Euphemia was upset that Dumbledore would do this to someone and she wished she never joined the light side. near the end of the night Tom abruptly got up and instructed Persephone and Severus to join him. 

They followed him out of the house and they saw him putting a barrier around them, he turned towards the two after he was finished 'Now, I've been thinking and before Persephone says "You can think?" let me finish, I was looking at the properties I owned and I saw that there was one with 6 bedrooms and I realised that I could give it to you two for the two Mr Blacks and Mr Lupin, and if Mr Potter wants to join you he may do that. It will be under Persephone's name as she is my heir and if she would like to she could add your name to the contract as well Severus. You can have the house if you so wish but if you don't want it then that's fine.' he waited for their reactions and he was startled when Persephone hugged him 'My Lord if I may ask why the one with 6 rooms?' Tom waited to answer because he couldn't breath with Persephone hugging him tightly. 'So that if you hold meetings with Persephone's death eaters, and you go out on missions and someone gets injured they can be treated in that room.'   

They agreed to go and live in that house with her brothers and Sirius's boyfriend would visit a few times a week, so it's safe to say that he had some of his stuff at the house because he was staying over so much, Persephone and Severus didn't mind, it gave him some time to get along with the Marauders and get to know them as people instead of the people who used to bully him.  

Persephone graduated earlier than the rest of her friends and family, she didn't know why she thought that with her working at Hogwarts Dumbldore would have more time to try and manipulate her into doing his bidding, she played the part of a spy really well for not many people knew about her name change which she planned to change very soon, her profession at the school was DADA but with the curse that Voldemort put there she was surpised that she has lasted 14 years with the same job. 

It is now 1991, and her nieces and nephews are going to be coming to the school, she was excited to say the least, her and Severus never had any children, they both agreed that having each other was enough. 12 years ago she was shocked to find out that a potion was invented to help same sex partners to have children, she had found out that her brother Regulus had been seeing James Potter of all people so she knew that their relationship would last through anything so she wanted to something nice for both her brothers and he bought them the potion, Sirius had burst out crying and he was all dramatic where as it was James who cried out of him and Regulus. Persephone received a note later that night from Regulus thanking her, it warmed her heart. 

Severus was happy living his life with Persephone and he didn't want anything to change their life, that was until a large group of people came to the wizarding world claiming to be from the future.....
