The Injury (Yuri!!! on Ice Fanfic)

Comfort

It was time for the surgery. Yuri changed into a hospital gown (which Victor thought Yuri looked so cute in), and was about to be put to sleep.

Victor sat on the bed with Yuri, and Victor told him "You can do this. I know you can." This was Yuri's first time doing any kind of surgery, so he was scared of course. Victor could tell.

"I- I guess so.." Yuri stammered. "I'm a little bit nervous, but I know the surgeons know what they're doing."

"That's the spirit. I'll be waiting for you no matter how long it takes." Victor assured Yuri.

"But you should go home, it's getting late." Yuri recommended, but he already knew what Victor's decision would be.

"You know I won't listen to that." Victor laughed.

Victor wrapped his arms around Yuri wanting to do more, but he refrained himself and respected Yuri's space.

Victor waited in the waiting room. And waited. It seemed like an eternity.

Finally around four in the morning, Victor completely asleep in the chair, was awoken by a nurse saying it's done.

Victor sprung from his chair and ran towards the room where Yuri was waiting.

Victor was told that Yuri was sleeping, and needed some time to recover. Before the doctor got the chance to tell Victor to come back tomorrow, he lay down beside Yuri and placed his arm over Yuri's chest.

The doctor sighed and was going to repeat himself, but got a deathly stare from Victor which told the doctor to not even speak another word.

Yuri woke up first, and started blushing really hard. But he eventually calmed down and fell back asleep.

"Wake up sleepy prince!.."

"Yuri? Yuri...."

Victor shook Yuri.

"Huh?!" Yuri got startled by the sudden feeling. "Guess what I have!" Victor said with great excitement.

Yuri could tell by the smell. It was his favourite pork cutlet bowl dish.

"Thanks Victor, you're the best." Yuri ate his food quickly, then was told by the doctors he could leave with a cast around his leg. He was given crutches, which made Victor mad that he didn't need to carry Yuri anymore. Yuri smirked.
