All of the avengers are at the tower having a party, you had only met a few of them even though your dad (Tony) said you can meet all of them. You got nervous meeting new people, and the few avengers you had met, was on accident. You didn't know about the party and couldn't hear it as you were in your room, listening to music and doing homework.

A few hours of the party went by and most people had left, you knew a few avengers were there but you presumed they were in a meeting. It was now 10:30pm, as you packed your homework away, you put in your headphones to continue listening to your music. You left your room and headed down to the kitchen for a drink, humming the tune of the song.

The avengers were in the main room all talking, and noticed you had walked into the kitchen, you not seeing them. They all knew that you were Tony's daughter however, not many had met you before. They all smiled as you walked through the hall, especially your dad and Wanda, your best friend.

You poured yourself a glass of water and turned around, seeing Wanda stood in the doorway.

"Christ Wanda you scared me," you jumped, "wait.. why are you still here? Have you guys not left yet?" Asking Wanda nervous.

"No, well Loki had to go but the rest of us are in the main room. Would you like to join? The whole team wants to meet you." She said as you became more scared.

"Um no, I think I'll pass on this one, maybe next time." You said picking up your glass to walk out.

"Y/n, you say that every time, why won't you just meet them, they all want to meet you and their really nice." She said complaining slightly as you always said that, moving to block the door as she said it. "Come on let's go." She said going to you taking your arm and pulling you to just outside the main room.

"Wanda I can't do this, please" you pleading with her, not make you go in.

She looked at you with puppy eyes trying to convince you, as you were shaking your head. She secretly read your mind whilst doing so.
^you can't do this- she heard your normal voice say^
^I'm scared- she heard your voice but in a child's tone^

"Y/n, is everything ok, are you scared about something" asking not to make it too obvious.

"Wanda, wait, you read my mind, OMG, why would you do that? I-I got to go." You say nervous and a slight tear coming to your eye.

"It's ok, if I can ask why did your voice sound different when you thought of that you were scared?" She asked slightly confused.

"Can we talk about this tomorrow, I'll even meet the team." Trying to get out of the conversation, that you didn't want to be in any more than meeting the whole team.

"No, I've already decided, you can meet the team tomorrow, but if you tell me now you can wait longer before you meet them." She said confidently as she knew that she had you stuck.

You took in a deep breath, "can we at least talk about it upstairs, in one of our rooms, so everyone isn't listening in." You say as she turns to look in the room, seeing everyone looking towards the door.

"Ok" she said turning back to look at you, "and guys stop looking!" She shouted at the door, knowing it made you uncomfortable. They all quickly darted their heads away from the direction of the door. As you walked past behind Wanda, you looked into the room and smiled, as no one looked at you, instead looking at the plain, empty wall, as Wanda and you were walking past.

You reached Wanda's door as she opened and walked in, you froze, she moved back closer to you placing her arm around your shoulder and walking in with you. "So, how do you want to tell me? It's totally up to you." Asking as you both sat down on her bed.

"Can you," you realised you started talking with a childish tone. You coughed and took a breath, hoping she didn't realise. "Can you just read my mind, it will be easier, as I'm not sure how to say it." You muttered quickly.

She nodded, as her hands started to glow red, you took a deep breath trying to stop the tears from filling your eyes. She reached up to your head and read your mind.

^I'm a little- she hears you say in a childish tone.^
^please don't be mad- hearing you normally again.^
^pwease don't Wanda- once again in a child's tone.^
(I didn't know how to do this, sorry it's bad.)

She left your head after, seeing tears start to form in your eyes, one escaping running down your cheek. She wiped your tears, as she held your face a moment, letting you slow your breathing. She pulls you into a warm, comforting hug as she places your head on her chest, for you to focus on her heartbeat.

You stay there as she starts to run her fingers through your hair. "Does your dad know?" Asking as she still held you in a hug. I shook my head, and I moved my hand up to my face wiping my tears. You sort of knew what she was going to ask next, as she knew your dad would always be there for you, no matter what. "Would you like ME to tell him?" Asking as she slowly released you from the hug. You nod as you smile up to her.

"What about meeting the team?" You asked after a moment's silence.

"You can meet them when you want, I'll be there too, I can introduce you to them slowly one by one. Also saying that you're a little, MY little." She says with a smile, you look up at her with a beaming smile across your face. She then sat back on her bed pulling you into a hug.

Now feeling safe and having someone to go to, knowing. You started to fall asleep in the hug, she gently kissed your forehead and whispered, "goodnight."
