Idk what to write really so quick summary: it's been around a month since the team and Peter found out. Carol is now your caregiver as you haven't said mama yet. It will hopefully make sense, aha enjoy.
No ones POV:
You were a little most of the time now and you're slowly starting to embrace it. You still got nervous in being your little self but you had Carol and Peter. You and Peter had your own rooms, but now there was a room for you two. Basically a play room and two cribs (small bed with protective stuff around, just not like a full baby crib.). You also stayed with Carol sometimes and Peters room was already connected to Tony's room.
Peters little self was around the age of about 5, whereas your little self was around 2 or 3. This caused some issues, fighting was a big one, but also temper tantrums over the smallest things. Peter had good speech, however you struggled to talk and hardly did.
Everyone was in the lounge just relaxing and watching tv, you and Peter were in your little state, playing upstairs in the play room. Everything was going ok until there was a screech from upstairs.
Carols POV:
"AAAAHHHH!!" All that was to be heard, the sound came from upstairs. There was sometimes arguing and shouting between them two, but never this. Me and Tony exchanged glances, then we both ran upstairs to where they were.We got to the playroom and y/n was crying in the corner and Peter had a mischievous look on his face but was still playing. "What happened in here Peter? Because somethings happened as y/n's in the corner crying and the look on your face gives it all away." Tony asked him, taking the toy off him.
"She was being mean taking my car, and I-" he replied knowing he did something wrong as he stopped mid sentence. "I sorry daddy."
"Y/n, what happened can you tell me?" I asked as I went over to y/n and cradled her in my arms.
" 'E 'it 'e (he hit me)." She said as she cried. Tony instantly took him to timeout in his room, I carried y/n to my room and put her on my bed.
I got in bed with her and cradled her into me. She was still crying but had calmed down. "Can you tell me what happened? Where did he hit you?" I asked, knowing I probably wouldn't get an answer back.
She struggled talking and got frustrated about it, not being able to say what was wrong. She only ever spoke to me, not even to Peter if they played together. This is difficult as she can't say what she wants. She has spoken with others present but not much, usually coaxing from me to say hello. Her speech was challenged, but she didn't have the confidence to try to fix it. I was just learning how to understand her but sometimes it was still difficult.
She pointed to her foot, arm and head. "What happened? Can you tell me?" I tried asking, hoping for an answer.
" 'E 'it 'e." Pointed to her arm and head. " 'e s'oo' o' foo'." And pointed to her foot. (He hit me. He stood on my foot). And with that she was hysterical once again
I brought her head close to my chest, letting her be able to focus on my heartbeat. I rubbed her back as I rocked her in my arms. "Shhh, y/n. It's okay. He's gone in timeout. And you feel all better." I said as I rubbed over the parts she said it was hurting.
"Ma-ma. I 'eepy (sleepy)." She whispered wrapping her arms around me. I was taken back for a minute at the fact that she called me mama. She looked up at me with her big eyes, tears were built up, about to pour out.
"It's ok baby, don't cry again. Let's have a nap. You've not had one yet today." I said and laying us down in bed. I pulled the covers up to her shoulders and lent down, placing a small and gentle kiss on her forehead. "Sleep baby, it's ok. I'm here with you." I said, as I ran my fingers through her hair.
I went onto my phone and went to the 'Peter and y/n' group chat. Basically the team are all in this group chat, specifically talking about you and Peter as littles. I took a photo of the sleeping y/n next to me and captioned it, 'she just called me mama!'. I posted it in the chat and the rest of the team was so proud, they knew that I was waiting for this to happen.
'It was not great timing but I'm glad she's finally said it.' Tony replied. 'Thank you. Hopefully it won't happen again.' I replied once more.
Although y/n is a little for at least a few days in a row, whereas Peter tends to be in his little self for only a few hours every day. They get along great, Peter still plays with her even when he's not little.
Y/n has gotten a lot more confidence since she called me mama. Tony's hired her a private speech and language therapist, just so she would be able to talk and express her self properly. She doesn't change ages, she's always around two or three, so her speech won't change without help.
And with that new found confidence and slightly better speech. She was no longer shy, she would toddle in and out of rooms, babbling away anyone who would listen. She was becoming a sassy diva, with the little age of two. Odd temper tantrum, they quickly ended. But now just confident and embracing the little side.
Here's part 2, I don't know if I'll think of any ideas for a part 3. So if you request a part 3, please leave ideas on what can happen.
Ahhh anyway 5k reads like OMG. And 140 votes, like do you guys actually like this book. It amazes me the fact that people read these.
Anyway, thank you so much I've hoped you have enjoyed part 2. As always stay safe and well.
