Reunion of Chaos and Cries
A loud but beautiful noise disturbed them from eating. Leviosa’s eyes widened in shock when the sound seemed familiar and he slowly looked at his father who was raging in anger right now.
“Guards! Get that harp and bring me that plant who’s playing it.” He commanded his guards and they hurriedly obeyed. Leviosa’s chest is aching because of worry that they may find out where Callum is.
She silently prayed that Callum will hide and won’t be caught by the guards.
“I’ve never heard this harp played this loud and nice before. Isn’t that your harp, Sigmund?” Uhaddah asked as if insulting him.
He gritted his teeth and quickly stood up when the guards finally brought the man while dragging his harp tightly in his arms. Leviosa covered her mouth when she saw Callum covered in blood.
Her father suddenly grabbed Callum’s neck and furiously looked into his eyes.
“How dare you steal my harp and my music?” he angrily asked while strangling him.
“Father, let him go he doesn’t deserve to deal with this,” Leviosa begged her father to let Callum go but Sigmund just looked at her with disappointment.
“Do you know this thing, Leviosa? How long have you been disobeying your father?” Sigmund cannot take the rage anymore and the anger can be seen through his eyes,
“I don’t think he’s just a mere plant, Sigmund. You’ve been raising this palace for long years but you still didn’t look at the little details you should pay attention to.” Sigmund furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
“I can’t blame you though, I made a barricade to protect this boy from getting hurt by creatures who have a bad intention.
You’re born out of mischief and you still managed to go this far with the help of your wife whom I gave the power of knowledge but it seems that you’re still dumbfounded.” Uhaddah explained while letting Callum go from his hands.
“What are you talking about?” he asked in an impatient voice to look for an answer.
“When your first child was born. I made this boy be the host of the lake I used to make you. He might not seem powerful but he’s more powerful than you, Sigmund. You can consider him as your little brother. Too tragic that your daughter seems to have an intimate relationship with his uncle. Not really but still close enough.”
Uhaddah chuckled as if his plan to make himself amused had finally come.
“Handle this, Sigmund, show me that you’re worth the trust I gave you.” Uhaddah seriously stated and made his way to the sky and disappeared in thin air.
By unmeasured anger, Sigmund pointed his cane and shot Callum’s chest.
The impact made the place beamed the brightest light like how it all began at first. The force that he pushed towards Callum beamed back to him and he felt that he lost half of his power.
By the impact, Callum lost all his strength and finally fell to the ground unconsciously. Leviosa hurriedly came towards him and held his head. Leviosa’s cries were heard in the entire place.
Callum reached for her face and smiled while tears are falling from his cheeks.
“Don’t cry, we’ll still play our music, not in this time but somewhere, where will finally be happy.”
“We will. If that time would come we’ll meet again and I wish that we will find each other’s way.”
Callum weakly nodded and smiled for the last time. Leviosa took a peek at his lips and reached for his flute and broke it in half. She stabbed her chest and fell beside Callum and held his hand in her last breath.
