A Half Hour later
'I know you are my dad, but I don't know what to think about you after the whole new world started, I mean you could be trying to kidnap me or kill me." Emma said. ''Emma, I have been lookin for you ever sence I left the barn, I never miss one day not thinking about you and your mom, I would die if I knew you were dead but I know you Emma your brave, when your cat died you said it was the circle of life, but I forget how girly you are you hate video games and you hated to go fishing with me, you know your alot like your mom." Brian said.
''Remember when I grabbed the grocery's and dropped them in the rode, and how you told me to pick them up and i said Ewww no because it fell by the gutter." Emma said laughing. "You know dad, I trust you knowing you will keep me safe anywhere." Emma said.
"Emma, Welcome to Alexandria, I think you'll like it here." Brian said. "Dad, you think they'll let my other group come later?" Emma asked. "Probably I don't know." Brian said. "Dad, it's March 1 I've kept Count and I realized its my birthday on the 5th, so for my birthday I want the group to come here, to stay here, to live here." Emma said. "we'll talk about this later, lets introduced you to everyone." Brian said.
The gates open there were two gates so that explains the place is very secured. A man named Aaron came to Emma and Brian. "So you found your daughter." Aaron said. "Yes, I'm glad because I know she'll be safe." Brian said. "You'll like it here kid." Aaron said. "Hi I'm Deanna and I have to interview you in my office before we really do anything." Deanna said. "Don't worry Emma it's just a test to she if your a good person." Brian said. "Okay Dad." Emma said. "Come." Deanna said.
They walked into Deanna's house. "Follow me." Deanna said. "Where do I sit?" Emma asked. "You can sit there and I can start the camera." Deanna said. "So, do you have any questions about Alexandria." Deanna said. "I do, I was with a group and they kept me safe and I was wondering if they can come to this safe place but if they can't and then I don't want to stay here." Emma said. "How many people where there, and why do you care so much that they would be here?" Deanna said. "There was a lot of them about a dozen people and care so much because there my second family and I can't just leave them!" Emma said. "Emma, I can tell that they are good people, that you just want them safe so I'll have a group look for them did they have a leader and any children." Deanna said. "Yes Rick is the leader and then there is a boy my age named Carl and a 9 year old girl named Rosie and then a baby named Judith." Emma said. "Well Emma you can go now and ill interview you more later when we find that group." Deanna said.
Emma stayed with her dad. "Emma how was the interview?" Brian said. "It was great." Emma said. "Oh Emma there is a girl your age and she's are neighbor so her mom wants to have you over sometime today so do you want to meet her?" Brian said. "Ya, I will after I take a shower." Emma said. "Oh Emma there is a bathroom in your room right next to your closet there are some outfits in there to pick from." Brian said. "Thanks dad." Emma said.
Emma went in the shower and was so happy there was hot water. When she got out she went in her room to her closet. There were 3 shirts, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 dresses, and 2 sweaters. Then there were black boots, 1 pair of high heals, and 2 Tennis shoes. Emma put on a Pink sweater with jeans and her black boots. Emma looked in her room and seriously thought she was in heaven. Emma had a zebra print blankets and pillows, and tv to play games on, a long mirror, and a curling iron. Emma curled her hair and that took her about 20 minutes and bobby pinned her bangs.
"Dad can I go see the neighbors now." Emma asked. "Sure Emma I'll come with you." Brian said. Emma walked to her neighbors with her dad. Emma met the mom named Jessie. "Hi Emma I think Enid will be happy there's another girl in town." Jessie said. "I hope she'll like me." Emma said. "She's a little shy at first but she'll like you." Jessie said. "Emma walk up into Enid room. "Hi, I'm Emma I'm new in town, would you like to show me around." Enid didn't look excited. "I'm Enid, and what you want to see." "I don't know, maybe somewhere in this place." Emma said. "Here, come with me I'll so you around." Enid said.
"So before you came here, what did you do?" Emma asked Enid. "It doesn't matter now." Enid said. "Okay..." Emma said. "Oh look what are they doing and why are they letting people out?" Enid said. "Let's see." Emma said. "Aaron why you leaving?" Enid said. "I'm going to look for a group." Aaron said. "What group, is it my group!" Emma said excited. "Are you Emma?" Aaron said. "Yes, can I come with?" Emma said. "No, let them be excited to see you when you get here." Aaron said. "Okay." Emma said.
"Enid, I think we will be good friends." Emma said.
