Emmas Side of The Walking Dead Chapter 32 More than a kiss

Emma POV

I walked beside Daryl as we passed the now vacant homes. Ever since the herd passed through, the population in Alexandria had decreased.

I looked at Daryl. He seemed down. I mean, he always did. It wasn't his fault though. He couldn't help it. I went through times like that. And the ironic thing is that he was the one who helped.

I placed my hand on his shoulder to gain his attention. He gave me a look that said 'yeah?'

"When did you lose hope?" I broke out and said without hesitation. He looked down.

"The moment when I knew what the world was like. The moment when I saw that my brother was a drug addict. The moment when I looked over and saw death in every corner. The moment when--" he cut himself off. He then sighed. "Long before the world turned to...crap, heh."

I giggled when I saw that he was about to say a word that wasn't so pleasant but he stopped himself because it was me he was talking to. When I was about to relate to him, Denise came frantically running towards us.

"There's someone in the house," she paused, "I don't know where Rick is!"

Daryl and I both widened our eyes and then went running to ricks. When we walked into his house we took ours guns right out of our pockets and headed to the stairs when we heard talking. I saw Carl having a gun against the mans head and saw Rick shirtless and Michonne with a tank top barely even on.

I giggled because I obviously knew what they did last night.

The sun rised and some of us group members talked to the man so called "Jesus."

"Judith starting crying"

"I'll feed her." Michonne said.

"No, I will I think it's better if you hear this then me." I asked.

"Thanks Emma." Rick said. That's was the first in a while Rick has said something to me. I went in the kitchen and grabbed the baby food I found on the third cabinet, so I had to stand on my tip toes. Anyone was in the dining room right next to the kitchen so I went out side with Judith. I sat on the swing on the porch.

After a couple minutes of feeding little Judith, Ron walked on the porch.

"Look who found there way home." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Thanks to Enid, I made us go the wrong way at first." Ron said.

"Sounds like you, Michonne found Carl and I out there, I thought we'd getting in trouble luckily we didn't." I said.

"Anyways, I've been meaning to talking to you about Carl, Have you and him dated?" Ron asked.

"No, we never have, we'll always only remain friends." I lied.

"Good, I was thinking maybe we go further than friends?" Ron said.

"I'd like that."

Meanwhile when Emma and Ron were talking, Carl was before the screen door listening the whole time.

Carl walked outside where Carl saw Emma, Ron, and Judith sitting together.

"My dad wants you and Judith inside, he doesn't want Judith getting to hot." Carl said just so he can talk to Emma.

Emma said bye to Ron and went inside with Carl and Judith. Carl and Emma went to go watch Judith in Carls room but they had to sneak in there because they don't want Rick getting mad together. When Emma and Carl walked in there he closed the door and Emma set Judith on the floor.

"I don't think I should be in here, Rick might get mad.

"Like it matters, it's not like we ever dated like what you said, and your dating Ron not me." Carl said upset.

"Oh no Carl, I didn't mean it like that and me and Ron aren't dating and never will." Emma said.

"Really, because you told Ron the same thing but about me." Carl said madly.

"Okay, you caught me in a lie, I'm sorry I really am, I guess I'm stuck between two, I like you Carl and I'm not lying I did miss you those three weeks I couldn't talk to you." Emma said.

"Sure, I bet you did." Carl said in sarcasm.

"How about Enid, why were you in the woods with her yesterday, and to remark wasn't the reason you and I broke was because you kissed her." Emma said sadly.

"She kissed me." Carl yelled.

"No, Carl I'm not dumb, I know how you felt about her and still do."

"Honestly Emma I've liked you most of the time, but I guess you felt different." Carl said tearing up."

Emma hugged Carl but Carl pushed her away and Carl sat on his bed thinking while it was awkward in silence.
After 5 minutes of silence Emma couldn't hold back the tears and started crying loudly and was turned away from Carl. Carl got up and grabbed Emma's waist and put his head on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry Carl I just really been having a hard time without my little Rosie and my father I just haven't been myself lately." Emma said in tears.

"Just breathe." Carl said whipping her tears.
Emma's POV
Carl Gazed into My eyes and I gazed into his, we looked at Eachothers lips and leaned in. It started off as a kiss but it lasted longer. Carl hugged my waist while I tasted his lips. It lasted long but I liked it, liked it a lot. I have to admit we were making out our lips moved up and down and our tongues touched a couple times but I honestly didn't mind. He went to grab my butt, then we heard a voice and we immediately we moved any from Eachother.

"Well, Mother D*ck, Rick I think you should get up here." Abraham said.

I rubbed the slobber off my cheek and stood there scared.

"What?" Rick said running into the room.

"I'm going to let you guys handle this I just came in here to get the baby, I just walked in and saw them eating Eachothers mouths." Abraham said walking out of the room with Judith. Rick stood there wide-eyed.

"Emma can you leave the room real fast." Rick asked.

I walked out and I feel so bad for Carl I really hope Rick's not mad. I stood behind the door the whole time and I knew it was not going well I heard Rick and Carl yell back and forth and Eachother and Carl voice crack into tears. After five minutes later Rick walked out and slammed the door.

"Emma, follow me." Rick told me. He brought me to the front door.

"Emma I know you and Carl are best friends maybe more than that, but I honestly think I think whatever you two have should end, nothing personal, I just think it's best for my son. I'll make Maggie bring home whatever you have here. Maggie is your cousin and your going to live with her but if you see Carl please just ignore him." Rick explained.

"Okay." I said sadly and just walked away from the grimes house.
