adventure

Walking hand-in-hand
With adventure
On conquered mountains I stand
Into glory I venture
Escaping the wonders of the woods
Midnight stars I capture
Emerging in the sunlight, taking off my hood
This feeling I treasure.

Speeding on a horse
100 miles an hour
Flora and fauna so diverse
Balancing on tree boughs
Feet sinking into luring sand
Waves hurling me forwards till I can't stand
As nature's daughter I roam
My kingdom as the evergreen globe.

Give me sunshine dusted meadows
Daisies blooming under willows
Gay larks singing the sweetest melodies
These running waters feel heavenly
Sunbeams breaking through the trees
Flushed face stroked by gentle breeze
Adventure is a breath of fresh air
Like calm waters after stormy despair.

Every quest, every dare
Adds up to adventure
On the mountain peaks at the stars I stare
Into thrill we venture
Adrenaline coursing through me
Like the world's swiftest river
People fear such, but I crave
Thrilling adventure.
