Any alcoholic drink can't erase this pain in me, right now. But I guess, I don't have any choice. 'Yun ngang kaming dalawa ni Andromeda ang lumalaban mukhang imposible na ewan eh. Ngayon pa kayang mag-isa na lang pala ako?
"Sir, you can put on the inside clothes before I hand you the suit mismo po, okay?" sabi nung assistant na dresser ata o ewan ba 'yon.
They are done doing my hair so yeah I guess I'll proceed on wearing this itchy clothes.
I sighed as I buttoned it up. I looked in the mirror.
"Never have thought that even in my real life, I'm still being programmed…" I said to myself, pitying my destiny.
It's been a week since THAT incident happened. And hindi ko din akalain na that's the last time I talked to Andromeda.
Araw-araw kong chinecheck kung nakauwi na ba siya sa bahay nya pero wala eh. Magkailaw man sa loob ng bahay nya, it's Granny not Andromeda inside.
Granny said that Andromeda never tells anything sa kanya. Basta nagpaalam daw sya na mawawala for a short period of time.
Pinupuntahan ko din kina Hui. Finding that right timing to have a talk with them pero wala din.
Tried to contact her mobile number but it says that it's out of reach. Yeah, right. Maybe it's really out of reach, then…
Walang paramdam. Kahit sa university since nagtetake sya ng summer, I'm expecting her to show up pero hindi ko talaga sya maabutan.
Pero I do not have to worry, once na mapunta kami mismo dun sa simbahan. Since, groom naman ang naghihintay sa may simbahan diba?
I just have to wait for the right timing to execute the plans.
Greg, Calix and I actually come up with an escape plan. Actually si Greg lang naman 'yung magaabang bilang getaway driver ko tapos si Calix na lang yung bahalang humarang nang kung sinuman ang pipigil since Calix don't know how to drive four-wheels.
This is actually Calix' idea so yeah. It sounded cool when he's explaining it, meron pa nga syang hinandang skit tungkol sa mga sasabihin or posibleng sabihin ng mga tao, medyo lasing na din kami nung pinagusapan namin 'to eh, pero sa pag replay ko ng pagreplay ng sinabi nyang plano, pasimple ng pasimple 'yung dating sakin. HAHAHAHA.
That's plan A. Major escape plan 1.0.
Kapag naman naging failure ang plan A. Edi proceed to plan B. Syempre baka boyscout 'to. Jk. I mean I don't even experience that. Ginaya ko lang linyahan ni Calix nung sinasabi nya sa'min; "Yun ang plan A, edi pag hindi natuloy. Arat Plan B. B for boyscout kasi lagi dapat tayong handa diba?" he said then laughs.
I thought it's called plan B kasi kasunod ng A pero sige it's Calix' version so I give him that. He got all the credits.
Tandang tanda ko pa 'yung kinakanta nya nung parang lumalalim na ang tama ng inumin sa kanya. 'Yung "Ako Na Lang" ni Zia Quizon. HAHAHAHAH paulit-ulit syang ganon kaya it would be a waste if we'll never execute those plans that he prepares.
Plan B. Lyliana will actually come so it would be perfect kasi marunong daw 'yon magdrive. Since Greg is also wearing a suit, lilinlangin namin na kunware ako 'yun pero nakaabang si Calix dun sa likod na actual kong pupuntahan tapos ayon nakamotor na kami.
Hindi pa rin dyan tapos because we got Plan C. C stands for Calix daw kasi walang kwenta daw masyado 'to. Plan C is I will just a run away tapos hahara silang tatlo then we'll meet up at the place that we talked about.
All this plans…
Though nasa isip ko yang mga yan since napagusapan namin, it's still a pain that there's no sign of Andromeda. Kinakamusta ko din naman kasi ang girls if may natatanggap ba silang text pero wala talaga eh.
I mean, c'mon we're all friends afterall. Kung meron lang din sana silang plano na parang bigla na lang susulpot si Andromeda na nasigaw ng "Itigil ang kasal!"
But they are genuine with their answers, pinakita pa nga nila sa'kin last conversations nila and Andromeda's social media is deactivated kaya wala… wala.. wala talaga..
Nawala ako bigla sa pag-iisip when someone already knocked on the door, "Uhm, sir? Ayos pa ba kayo dyan? We still have things to put on you. And it's about time na po."
Binuksan ko naman kaagad ang pinto and apologizes to them, "Pasensya na medyo natagalan…"
"Ayos lang po, Sir. Tinawagan lang po kasi ni Ma'am Esmeralda eh." sabi naman nya saka inayos muli ang pananamit ko.
Time passed and mukhang ikakasal na nga ako.
I'm on my way to the venue, when all of the sudden, nagnotify ang cellphone ko…
Nabuhayan ako ng loob. It's from Andromeda!
My smile slowly fades away as I read what she says:
In another life, I would be your girl.
I'm sorry, Perseus..
Shit.
And just like that, I cancel all the plans that we've thought of. Sorry Calix and Greg. Wala eh.
If that's really what she wants then I guess..
