....

Siya : Today we have an amazing writer who won First place in Historical Fiction in the Morpankh Awards 2nd Edition hosted by the Kuru Family. _Historywriter_. This wonderful writer goes by the name Divyansh.

Let me tell you his wonderful book Karna's Realization is one of the best fictional stories I have read so far even before he entered it into the awards! Today I am honored to have an interview with the author of my favorite mahabharat related book!

Siya: Welcome to this interview Divyansh and Many Many Congratulations on winning the well deserved award. I am so excited to ask you all about yourself and the book.

Divyansh : Thank you! I am glad to be here.

Siya : First I wanted to start with asking about some things about yourself. You can skip or simply not answer the questions you are uncomfortable with or don't want to.

Regarding the deep knowledge you have about mahabharat, I would like to know about how you attain such knowledge? Serials, books etc...

Divyansh: Actually I really liked our Indian Mythology and in my school days there used to be a subject on mythology and in college also we have a mythology subject that is peace. Yes, I have watched many serials and read many books on mythology like Raahmirathi, Mritunjay, KMG, The Role of dice and the rise of kali, Vanaras, Asuras- the forgotten tale, Unfallen Pandavas and many more.

More to add, my family is also very keen on mythology.

Siya: Wow! That's a wonderful collection of books that you have read. I see you are a great reader too! Some of the books I have heard like The Role of dice and the rise of kali.

I want to know about your favorite mahabharat character. Mine are Karna and Krishna.

Divyansh: My favorite character in mahabharata are none but I like karna. I see the world as grey and for me, in mahabharat every character made some mistakes.

In Mahabharat every character was important. If shakuni wouldn't be there, the mahabharata would not have happened. Same with Shikhandini and many more.

Siya : You are right. Every character in mahabharata made many mistakes. They were after all just humans like us! I like the way you see things and put your point.

I would like to know what other books and genres you like to read or write apart from historical fiction?

Divyansh: Apart from mythology, I like the books by J.K Rowling. Then I have an interest in World War. I really love the book - The man in the high Castle by Philipe kindred for his novel. I really loved that book.

Siya : Wow. I have not read that book yet, but I will try it when I am free for sure.

Knowing about the story and your knowledge about Indian culture and mythology,I think you are an Indian. If so, which state do you reside in? What are the specialities and culture about it?

Divyansh: Yes, I am an Indian. I am from Rajasthan, but currently I am living in Ahmedabad. Both Gujarat and Rajasthan hold special places in my heart. I really love the food of these two states. The culture of both Gujarat and Rajasthan are so vibrant. The Garba of Gujarat is one of my favorites.
