Jet's Story

Chapter 8

  Jet decided to take a nap on her own bed, when her sisters came up to her. "Ya wanna watch a movie or something?" Nova asked. "Sure." Jet replied. "What kind of movie?" Jet asked. "Cupid wants to watch a unicorn movie." Nova said. "Are you okay with that?" Nova asked. Jet nodded. "Why do you look upset about something?" Nova asked. "I'm not," Jet said awkwardly laughing. Nova put her left eye brow up. "Okay then," Nova said. Then Cupid picked up the TV remote and put on the movie. Jet not really caring what movie was on, was finally relaxed. "I'm gonna get a drink." Jet said. Then all of a sudden, Jet's vision was blurry. Jet tried her best to see where she was seeing. She fell to the ground, and was gritting her teeth. "Are you alright!?" Nova asked. Jet let out a roar. Cupid gasped. Jet nearly was scratching the floor. "MOM!!!!!" Cupid yelled across the living room. "What's wrong C-" Jennifer cut off when she saw the suffering black unicorn cat on the ground. "Oh my gosh!" Jennifer said. Then Jet's body was changing! Her wings got bigger and extended.
Her teeth got sharper, and she grew two horns, and her torso extended, and her pupils were both thin. She had turned into a...DRAGON!

  "What is she?" Cupid whispered to her mother. "She's a dragon." Nova said. "She looks cool!" Cupid said. "What is going on in here?" Tony asked in surprise. When he saw the dragon, he gasped. "I know." Jennifer said. Then Jet morphed back into her normal self. "Wow I didn't know you could do that!" Cupid said. "Me neither," Nova said. "Have you, Mom and Dad?" Nova asked. Tony and Jennifer shook their heads left to right. "I wonder what else I could shapeshift into!" Jet said. Then Jet transformed into a fire bird. "A phoenix," Jennifer exclaimed. "This is awesome!" Cupid said. "Wait I transform one more time!" Jet said. She then transformed into a black snake. Jennifer gasped. "She won't hurt you." Nova said. Then she changed back into her normal self. "I never knew I could do that!" Jet said. "Just don't get carried away with the shapeshifting." Jennifer said. "I can't wait to tell Oliver!" Jet said. "Um Jet, I think it's best that we'd wait a while to tell him." Jennifer said. "What? Why?" Jet asked. "I would want to wait a while to tell Oliver if I were you." Jennifer said. "Why?" Jet asked. "I just think he would be too amazed, and that he'd tell people," Jennifer replied. "She's gotta point," Nova said. "I won't tell him." Jet said.

  Then, Cupid walked up to Jet, "I wanna make a movie." She said. "What do you mean?" Jet asked. "Ya know, kinda like a video. We could make a fairy tale movie. I can be the princess, Nova can be the queen, and you can be the fire breathing dragon!" Cupid said. "Ya mean, I shapeshift into a dragon, to make the movie?" Jet asked. Cupid nodded excitedly. Then Nova came walking into the living room. Cupid explained the whole movie to Nova and Jet. "Are we gonna have costumes on?" Nova asked. "Only me and you. Jet won't, because she's playing the fire breathing dragon." Cupid replied getting a purple dress on, and a tiara. "Put this on." Cupid said, giving Nova a poofy blue dress with a big crown. "How do we know if Jet can breathe fire as a dragon yet?" Nova asked. "Good point," Cupid said. "We'll test her. Here, set this paper on fire." Cupid said. "I don't think that's a good idea!" Nova exclaimed. "Don't worry, we'll do it outside," Cupid replied. When they got outside, Cupid dropped the paper on the ground. Cupid pointed to the sheet of paper, and took several steps back. Jet morphed into a dragon, and breathed fire on the paper. "Yay! she can!" Cupid said. Then Nova panicked and got a bucket of water, and put the fire out. "Let's never do that again," Nova said.

"Let's start the movie!" Cupid said pressing the play button on the phone. "Princess Cupid, you are forbidden to go near that dragon!" Nova said sitting in the chair that they decorated to make it look like a throne. "Yes your majesty." Cupid said doing her best curtsy. "Now run along," Nova said. Cupid then went skipping towards the shed where Jet was. Jet pretended that she was sleeping. "It's the dragon!" Cupid exclaimed. Then Jet woke up, and roared. Cupid ran away, pretending to be scared, and screaming. She wasn't actully scared, right? Jet thought. Jet played along, running after Cupid. Cupid pretended to scream when she saw the dragon. "I thought I told you to stay away from that beast!" Nova said pretending to be mad at Cupid. "I'm sorry!" Cupid said hugging Nova. Jet got closer and closer. "Please don't hurt us!" Cupid whined. "Hurt you? Why would I wanna hurt you?" Jet said. "You won't hurt us?" Cupid asked. "Of course not." Jet replied. "Then why were you chasing me?" Cupid asked. "I wanted to be friends, but you kept running," Jet said. "Well, I will be friends with you!" Cupid said petting the dragon's head. 

"Your majesty, can I keep her?!" Cupid said. "Of course you can, but you have to take good care of her," Nova replied. "Thank you!" Cupid said hugging Nova. Jet joined the group hug. "Then they all lived, happily ever after!" Cupid said stopping the video. "That was awesome guys!" Cupid said. Then Jet morphed back into her normal self. "Welp, I gotta give Mom's phone back to her," Cupid said. "Did you steal from her?" Nova asked laughing. "No, she said that I could borrow it." Cupid replied. Cupid gave back their mom's phone. Cupid and Nova took off their costumes, and they hung out in their room. "That movie we made, was awesome!" Cupid said. "Just out of curiosity, did you send that video to anyone?" Jet asked. "I sent to Angel's mom," Cupid replied. Jet's eyes grew wide. "Why would you do that?!" Jet exclaimed. "What's wrong with that?" Cupid asked. "She would know that I'm a dragon!" Jet snapped. "I'm pretty sure she won't tell it's you." Nova said. "She could!" Jet said. "A dragon and a unicorn cat, are not similar." Nova said. "Your right, maybe she won't." Jet said. "I mean, I don't think she's ever seen me before," Jet said.
