As they were heading to the ice cream place, Naruto decided to make conversation with Sasuke while Boruto and Sarada were already walking ahead of them talking. ''So, Sasuke, how have you been?'' Naruto asked with a smile. ''I've been kinda busy lately, but I've been good'' Sasuke sighed. Naruto chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, ''Tell me about it, being Hokage is all fun and all till it's not, you know? don't get me wrong, I love being Hokage but it's a bit tiring with all the paper work 'ttebayo!'' Sasuke could only let out a laugh at the familiar phrase he's been saying since his childhood days. 

After Naruto insisted that he'd pay because apparently 'he invited him and it would be wrong to make Sasuke pay', The raven didn't feel like arguing so he just sighed and agreed. After a while they all sat down chatting while eating their ice cream. Sasuke never really liked sweets, but he always made an exception for one flavor, black raspberry. Only Naruto knew that. But then again there is no other that knows Sasuke like Naruto does. 

''Did you guys know Sasuke was a total ass as kids?'' Naruto laughed out. Sasuke turned his head to protest that he was in fact not an ass as kids, which he totally was, but that was besides the point. ''Speak for yourself dobe, you were annoying'' Sasuke added in return with a faint smile. He was annoying, but Sasuke liked that about him. Always so energetic and making everyones day. It was scary to think what Sasuke could have become if it weren't for his annoyingness to bring him back to the village. It was even more scary to think of what he would've become if he didn't know Naruto at all. That thought only sent a shiver down his spine. A life with no Naruto? No thanks.

Naruto only chuckled at his response, ''shut up teme, you know you love me, ttebayo!'' Naruto said sarcastically, which was true. He did love Naruto, with all his heart, but Naruto would never know that .. ''yeah yeah whatever loser'' Sasuke rolled his eyes as tiny smile appeared upon his lips. 

''Can you tell us more about Papa when he was younger?'' Sarada asks practically jumping up and down excited to hear a little more about her dads past. Naruto let out a low chuckle at her actions, probably reminding him of when he himself was little. 

"Lets see, Sasuke.. He was pretty handsome and was very popular with the ladies, he never really seemed to care about any of that though.. BUT not as handsome as i was!'' Naruto quickly added on. Sasuke's turned his head a little to hide his flushed face ''hn'' Sasuke only said in a reply. He thought Sasuke was handsome? The raven haired man probably looked like a tomato right now. ''We were always arguing about something, and always competing. It was fun, it helped make me stronger, and I'm sure it helped him too. Although he was a stuck up ass I was always with him, we were kinda inseparable. Cause no matter how much we complained, we were always  ready to risk our lives for one another.'' Naruto finished with his grin and a thumbs up. ''But that's what friends are for!'' he finally finished.

If Sasuke said that last part didn't hurt, he'd be lying. He was happy to be Naruto's friend, he really was. But he wanted to be more than that. Sasuke sighed at the thought like, seriously? more? he was happily married with two kids.. He couldn't do that to him. 

When they all finished there ice cream, Sarada and Boruto left to go do some training. It was just Sasuke and Naruto now. Naruto let out a yawn and stretched a bit, Sasuke only laughed at that. "Tired already, Lord hokage?'' The raven sarcastically questioned. "Oh haha, real funny teme. Anyways I could really use some drinks right now, you wanna come? I have the week off and I want to get drunk before I need to work again, ya know?'' The blonde let out a nervous laugh while rubbing the back of his head. ''Yeah ill come, I could really use a drink too right about now..'' Naruto smiled at that ''Great!'' And with that they left.
