~INFERNO~ {Edens Zero x Reader}

Prologue

Such a peaceful morning. 

The birds are chirping, the little critters on the ground are getting their morning started, the wind blowing by,  and the terrified screams of an unfortunate young girl and her pal in the distance....

"Ah!!!...I'm sorry....I'm sorry!!...I didn't know that was your baby!." "Don't eat us!!."

A young lady sped down the dirt road clinging to her friend as she tries to shake off the beast right on her tail. A loud roar erupts from it's fang filled mouth shaking the ground, almost knocking her off her feet.

"This is why I said we should've left sooner!!.." The creature clinging to the girl's arm said as it held on tightly.

Comical tears poured out of the running girl's eyes as she tried not to stumble over rocks on the path.  "I just wanted to see more of the island!!..I'm Sorry!." 

"The ship!..Hurry!" Yelled the creature in her arms.

The two took another sharp turn through ruins as the beast behind them slid and crashed into trees, that did not stop it though as it got back up and continued it's chase.

Up ahead they spotted their ship and gave a sigh of relief which turned into a scream of terror a second later.

"What are those monkeys doing to our ship!" Yelled the girl as they got closer to the ship's packed area on the beach.

These suppose 'monkeys' were dismantling the engine's thrusters bit by bit as they danced around the packed ship.

'Why did we come here again!' She thought as they slid to a stop.

"Tiko get to the ship I'll clear a path!" 

"Aye!" Not wasting another second Tiko jumped off as his human companion activated their Ether Gear. With her Ether Gear activated she aimed her arms forward at the ship destroyers and blasted fire balls at each one knocking them away from the vessel. Taking the cleared path, Tiko ran passed the chaos and towards the ship. 

The sudden attack threw the unharmed perpetrators off guard but they regained themselves and turned towards the girl with an angry expression on their silver faces.

"The hell you looking at! That's my ship!" She launched herself off the ground and punched the 'monkeys' that had ran towards her to attack.

During the commotion outside Tiko had gotten onto the ship and activated its systems. 

SYSTEMS ONLINE.

Tiko looked out the window grinning before screaming after spotting the creature from earlier moving towards their current location unbeknownst to his companion fighting outside. 

The ship begins rising off the beach sand as Tiko ran towards the now open ramp .

"Y/N Lets go! it's coming!!" Tiko screamed out, knocking Y/N out of her fighting trance.

"Eh?.." She turned back with squinted eyes while holding a 'monkey' by its head and saw trees being crushed as it got closer looking much angrier than it was before. 

She let out a comical scream yeeting the 'monkey' away, completely forgetting about her ability she ran towards the ship yelling profanities. Tiko sweatdropped at the sight but stepped aside as she jumped onto the ramp. 

The creature slid into the beach knocking away 'monkeys' left and right as the ramp closed and the ship took off into space.

Finally safe from rage filled monsters the two friends finally had time to take a deep breath.

"We're alive..." Murmured Y/N as she layed face first into the steel floor, Tiko patting her head.

She groaned then rolled over, picking up Tiko and hugging him to her chest before bursting into giggles. 

"...That..was awesome!...Let's do it again!." She yelled out grinning, her eyes sparkling in delight. 

"No!.." Screamed Tiko horrified as the girl got off the floor with him in her arms.

"I'm joking~..." She said as she snuggled him close while walking towards the controls.

Her grin never left her face as she looked ahead 

"Next stop BLUE GARDEN!!"
