3rd person:
As cricket walked down the bustling street and into the familiar bar, they couldn't help but feel as though they were being watched. Cricket was used to stares and soon enough they were able to tune them out completely. But this felt different, but they shrug it off as just paranoia.
As soon as cricket walked into the bar they instantly felt exposed, venerable. Still convincing theirself it was just paranoia, they made their way into the break room. It was there they were met with their coworker, Alex. He was always looking out for Cricket like they were a younger sibling.
"How are you doing in this fine evening, Cricket?" Alex asked. They would always talk to each other in sarcastic posh tones. "Well I am doing splendid!"Cricket exclaims matching his tone and energy "what about you, sir?"
"much the same" he quickly said in a bit of a rush. Cricket looks at the clock and realise that their shift is starting in 2 minutes. They quickly get changed into tight ripped black jeans and a long sleeve black turtle neck with tiny white stars dotted all around it. They both got ready just on timed or their shift to start.
Cricket and Alex both collected their aprons from the basket and headed out to start serving. They were both mixologists, they both attended the same mixology school and you've been friends ever since. They've been through breakups, coming outs, making outs and so much more.
Breakups: Alex had a lot of ex's and Cricket was always there to comfort him.
Coming outs: first Cricket came out as pansexual. Then Alex came out as trans. Then Cricket came out as non-binary. And finally 2 years later Alex came out as gay.
(I know they're a fruity bunch)
Make outs: Cricket and Alex dated before he came out as trans. It was only for about two months but then they decided to call it quits because it just wasn't working out.
