Marcus stood there like a scolded puppy and Alexa simply glared at everything that moved.

Evan went on, ''Look Alexa and Jack, I know we haven't started off at the right foot and..''

Alexa cut him off in disbelief, ''Are you kidding me! Right foot?! You bullied us, called us names and estranged any chances of us making more friends.''

Evan sighed loudly, ''I know, and I apologize, we all do. ''

Jack looked astounded, he looked questioningly at Marcus. Marcus hesitatingly spoke, ''Uhh Yeah dude I'm sorry for talking shit about you to the guys, you've worked hard for the team and I'll make sure to let the whole team know once were back.''

Jack felt relief, he had indeed worked his ass off to get a scholarship at the prestigious Greendale College, and football was extremely important to him.

Evan spoke up again, what was he their leader Alexa thought, ''So I was thinking how about a truce? We can all enjoy the trip together. Who knows maybe well end up as friends even!''

Alexa scoffed at the last part but murmured in agreement with the rest of them. Stephanie whined in her shrilly voice, ''Come on! I'm hungry, start the fire! And Marc get that leg checked, Kory go help him.'' Alexa resisted the urge to cover her ears from the high pitched voice. Kaylees been awfully quiet throughout Alexa thought, ''Huh! Suspicious.''

''Did you say something?'' Kory asked her.

''No! its nothing, dont worry about it''

''Oh! Okay then''

Kory looked at her weirdly and then smiled at Alexa, but the smile seemed forced, and walked away to help Marcus. Alexa wasn't buying any of the bullshit that Evan just spewed, unlike her bestie since the last 3 years, Jack, who seemed to believe everything and couldn't be happier about it.

Sighing Alexa went to the bonfire, ignoring how Evans dog was growling at her.

''Come here boy!'' Evan called his dog, ''Sorry he isn't usually like this.''

''Don't worry about it'' Alexa waved it off. Evan gave her a smile, but there was something unnatural-hat is up with all the smiling? And why did they call a truce? Why does Kaylee look like she would cry every time we make eye contact, I mean she is getting what she wanted, to be popular and was now stuck in the middle of a forest with the three most influential students on the campus, Marcus, Evan and Stephanie for a full week. Why was Jack staring at Kaylee longingly? I'll have to talk with him later. With those thoughts Alexa drifted off into a dreamless sleep, not bothering with dinner.
