* STEPHANIE HAMPTON ABOVE *

Jack eyes me warily at the end of my short speech.

''But what about Kayls? She isn't like them.''

''Keep telling yourself that. You never see what's right in front of your eyes, and its Kaylee!'' Alexa says moodily, making sure to stress at the last word. She gives the clearly conflicted Jack some space and heads back to her tent, plotting.

Meanwhile, Marcus confronts Evan and his sister.

''What was that today?''

''What was what Marc?'' Evan speaks calmly.

An aggravated Marcus goes on, ''You know what I am talking about. Why were you two all over each other down in the river.''

''Marcy relax! Youre over analysing things. Me and Evan are good friends'' Stephanie cooed.

''Evan because of our long-standing friendship and trust, I will let this go, and Steph... '' Marcus just shakes his head and walks away.

''Jesus Steph! I told you we gotta be more careful. What is wrong with you?'' Evan asks once Marcus is out of earshot.

Stephanie overdramatically tears up ''But baby!...''

Evan lets out a frustrated growl and walks away leaving her alone with her tears.

''Dinners ready!'' Kory calls out to everyone. As everyone feasts, the tension between Jack and Alexa, and Steph, Evan and Marcus is palatable. Everyone goes to bed grumpy that night. Jack ignoring the silent messages Kaylees eyes send to meet up again tonight, falls asleep as soon as his head hits his sleeping bag.
