Marcus, who was rudely awoken and dragged away by his sister earlier was now digesting the news that Jack and Kaylee were together. He had no proof of it except his sisters word and a photo that proved next to nothing. He was letting his jealousy of the boy being more popular and likeable take over again, as was expected.

All of them had decided to visit the water body nearby today. And by the end of the day, a lot of mixed emotions swirled in the air. The days events had confused them all.

Marcus had non-stop flirted with Kaylee which made her cheeks turn into tomatoes and annoyed Jack to no end. Stephanie and Evan were acting closer than usual, which didn't go unnoticed by Steph's brother. Kory was in her own little world occasionally muttering about taking something too far, and Alexa was studying and scrutinizing everyone's actions, along with avoiding being mauled by Evans dog, Oscar, who lived a more lavish life than herself.

Nearing nightfall, back at the campsite, Alexa pulls Jack away from the group.

''What is up with you and Kaylee?''

''W-what do you mean?'' Jack stutters.

Alexa rolls her eyes. ''I'm not blind. Everyone sees it. Heck, I even saw Stephanie clicking a picture of you guys this morning.''

Jack starts fuming at that as he joins the dots. ''That's why Marcus was all over Kayls today.''

Alexa raises her eyebrows at the nickname but lets it slide, Jack only ever called Alexa Aly. Jack goes on, ''Well what about what Evan had said.''

''Oh, Jacky! You really believed that! I mean they did put on a good act, but dont you see them for who they truly are. Rich egotistical jerks who thinks they can do and take whatever they want, whenever they feel like it and throw world-class tantrums when everything isnt served for them on a silver platter. ''
