Chapter 5~ A much needed coffee break

Victoria and I walked down a few blocks turned a few corners till finally Victoria said "Here we are" in front of us was a tiny looking cafe that looked old but charming with read windows and doors table and chair outside and flowers beds on each window.

We went inside where there was a few full tables but not enough to make you feel crowded "AHH.. mi amore Victoria how are you today?" I heard making me turn to see an middle aged man walking up to us with open arms.

"Danone I'm great how are you, how's busy have you got that sign fixed yet?" Victoria questioned she sounded like his mum i tried not to laugh as he looked she caught him with his handle stick in a tiny jam jar. "Oh Victoria you always keep me in check don't worry everything is fine fine...and who is this lovely lady hmm.." he said looking at me curious eyes

"Hello I'm Emily" I said sticking out my hand he looked at me and than Victoria "put that away" he said tapping my hand down "friends and people of Maneskin are family here" dance declares opening his big arms to pull me inside a hug suddenly shaking me around.

"That's enough Dan.. I don't think she'll marry you" a familiar voice said Danone placed me down i turn to see the boys standing at the door Damiano smirked at me as I realised my cardigan was down I noticed his smile turn into a frown I noticed Victoria looking at my arm.

Oh shot the bruise I quickly pulled up my cardigan "just because your so unlucky doesn't mean I can't try " Danone said "yeah yeah... is our table free?" Damiano asked completely forgetting what Danone said as he walked up the stairs "Well yes of course I'll make your drinks now" with that Danone turned to me and bowed his head "madam a pleasure"
"Enough dan .." Damiano said

We all walked up the small stair case that you wouldn't really notice if you won't here much.

I sat beside Victoria who smiled at me Thomas immediately sat on the middle chair since I had probably taken his seat
"You can sit here thomas" I said "no stay it's good Victoria has a girl to talk to.. can't tell you how tired I am on well does this look alright... should I wear red or black"  Thomas said mocking Victoria accent "oh piss off " Victoria said everyone went quite till I brusted out laughing making Thomas and Victoria laugh Ethan chuckled and Damiano smiled at us.

"look i got this new ring that has a horse shoe on it " Victoria said pulling it out of the tiny black box.

" in my country horse shoes are used for good luck their left outside front doors to warn off bad luck and bring hope" I said

"wow cool I'll wear it daily, I'll need the luck" she said
"You irish believe in luck and faith all that stuff right" ethan said i nodded "so how come your here?" Thomas asked
"Victoria thinks she owes me coffee " I said we chuckled "no here in Italy don't you miss your home" Thomas asked

"Yes every day but I needed a change and Italy has always interested me" i said "I bet the language is hard" Ethan said looking at his phone "yes actually it is... italians can't understand me" i said making everyone laugh including Ethan who put away his phone.

Few minutes later ***
"AH.. now here we go " Danone suddenly walked up the stairs carrying  A tray of  Drinks, behind him was a young girl with light blond hair tied back in a tight bun "I thought this is a cafe what is there drinks " I asked "we're vip so we get the good stuff" ethan told me.

the waitres placed another tray onto the opposite table she stared at Damiano

"chorea pass the drinks" Danone said obviously annoyed at his young waitress lack of direction "here Damiano your drink"  she said softly as she placed a glass in front of him and for some reason I felt annoyed by her.

But as the drink were passed around I noticed Damiano didn't pay the waitres any noticed like she wasn't there for some reason I felt pleased.

"And for the new madam.. a Guinness" Danone said placing the tall drink in front of me I couldn't help but smile I wanted to laughed but I was afraid I'd hurt dan feelings he seemed so happy he even added two ti y umbrellas on the drink.

"Enjoy .. enjoy ... enjoy" dan said as he bowed walking away
"You actually drink that stuff" ethan questioned
"Yes it's a traditional Irish drink.. but every pub I've been too only serves me this... sometimes I'd rather not talk" I said

Thomas quickly  Snatched The tiny green umbrella "Tomas that's not yours stop messing " Damiano said "its ok its just an umbrella.. if you can call it that" I said holding up the other one.

"No its a hat " Thomas said we turned to see the umbrella was now in his blonde hair making us laugh when Victoria laughed the guys looked at her they seemed surprised but happy I wondered why..

Ethan looked between Thomas and the umbrella in my hand I think he wanted to join in "ethan... move in closer" I said moving my drink away as i moved over to ethan from across the table I quickly placed the umbrella into his hair he smiled at me as he pulled away.

I turned to see Damiano smiling at us as I sat back down "uhhh that gross" we looked back at Thomas who had my drink in his hand i laughed out loud "its not for everyone thomas" I said making everyone laugh.

We continued our drinks and joked and laughed so more.
