Do you see him?

I was trashing around the bed not falling completely asleep. I heard this loud rumbling. Then a train rattling.

"Aurora, what's wrong?" My mom ran into the room "Did you hear that?" I ask "I heard you screaming" she said.

"No. It was the sound of a train passing through my room" I say "Oh, honey, you were having a nightmare" my mom said "No, I wasn't. It wasn't a..." I trailed off as my mom interrupted me.

"Well, there wasn't a train and we haven't had an earthquake, so..." she sighed "It just must've been a bad dream" she said and left the room closing the door.

"But I wasn't asleep"

"You know me. Oh, thank God, you know me" a voice echoed as I stepped outside the school, but there was no one around.

"Do you see him? Do you see him? All right, come on, come on!"  I was all alone. No one outside. Not a single soul.

"This way. Whoa, whoa, whoa, stop! This way, this way" the voice echoed "Where are they?"

"Everywhere!"

"Will you forget me? I won't... I won't!"

"Aurora, look out!" Malia yelled as she grabbed me and pulled me from the road.

"Are you okay?" She sighed "I'm fine" I mumble "What were you doing?" Malia asked "Trying to remember" I said.

"What were you doing?" Malia snapped out of nowhere "You just gave me a heart attack! And I was looking for a dead body" I say "That's morbid"

"So then, what was I doing out here all alone?" "I wish I could help you, but I didn't know you then. I was still a coyote so I might've tried to eat it" Malia said.

"Deaton said that my subconscious is trying to tell me something. But I need you guys to help me figure out what it's saying" Scott said "Maybe you were just a curious teenager. You heard there was a body" I say.

"But how? I never watched the news. And I didn't have a police scanner" Scott said "Our mom works at the hospital. Maybe she got called in and you overheard her?" I spoke.

"mom wasn't home that night. I live five miles away from here. How did I get here?" Scott questioned "You drove" I say "I didn't have a car" Scott replied.

"You ran" Malia said "I couldn't have. I had asthma" Scott said "I was hiding, but they knew that I was here. Maybe you made a ton of noise with your asthmatic breathing" Malia said.

"How would they know that it was me?" He asked "Why would the Sheriff even think that I would be out here?" He added.

"Because like most deaths in this town, it was related to the supernatural" Malia said "I wasn't supernatural. I mean, this was the night that I was bitten" Scott stated.

"I wasn't a werewolf yet. And I wasn't out here alone"

"I know this sounds crazy. But I think I had a best friend. And I think he was out here with me that night" Scott said.

"It doesn't sound crazy" I say "I came to school this morning and I was sure I was supposed to meet someone. But I couldn't remember who it was supposed to be. I have been looking for them all day" I added. I paused a little.

"Whoever it is, I think I loved him" I say.
