The siren kept blaring in distance.

"This is your brilliant idea? To barricade ourselves in the morgue?" Theo raised his eyebrows "The Ghost Riders go after the living. So we hide with the dead" I opened on of the cupboards where dead bodies are kept.

"I'm not getting in one of those" Theo stated "Me neither" I gulped.

"You should've left me in the holding cell" Theo muttered "I should've left you in the ground" I say.

"Oh, really?" He said "Yeah. Really" I say "What do you think I was doing down there? Just hanging out with my dead sister? Having a good time catching up on childhood memories?!" He exclaimed.

"I think you were rotting down there" I say "Rori finally gets one thing right" He laughed "I also think whatever happened to you, you deserved it" I said.

"Is that right?" He raised his eyebrows "When the Ghost Riders find us, I'm not gonna do anything for you" I started.

"I'm not gonna help you. I'm not gonna save you. I'm gonna do exactly what you would do to me" I paused "I'm gonna use you as bait"

There was silence for a moment.

"Can we just...get along?" Theo spoke up.

Silence.

"Look, we're kind of stuck together here, so we might as well make the best of it. Besides i hate fighting with someone who's supposed to be on the same side as me" Theo said.

Silence.

"Or you could just not talk to me...that will work" he sighed.

"You still hear the ambulance?" Theo asked "The siren, can you still hear it?" He questioned, I shook my head "They're here" I say.

We got out of the morgue. One way there was ghost riders. We wen the other way and there were more of them.

"They're everywhere" Theo said "Good" I mumbled "Really? You really need me to remind you that getting captured by the Ghost Riders isn't gonna help you save your friends?" Theo exclaimed.

We heard footsteps approaching "We're both getting caught. You can do it while you're running" I say "I'm going down fighting" I stated.

"You're so fucking stubborn!" He yelled when I was little further away. Fighting the ghost riders were harder then I thought. I just tried to knock em out.

"Use it! Do it!" Theo exclaimed "Use what?!" I asked "your damn power, Rori! Do it!" He yelled "I can't!" I yelled back "why?!"

"I don't have it anymore!" I exclaimed "what? H-how?!" He looked confused "I just don't- I fought the beast and it made me very weak, when I got better the power didn't came back! Maybe that's how power of groundbreaker works!" I yelled kicking away one of the ghost riders.

"No! It's supposed to stay!" Theo yelled "okay! Let's chat about this later!" I say.

We thought we fought them off and we were about to fist bump as we turned around to see dozens of them at the end of the hallway.

"Let's go!" Theo grabbed me by my waist and spun me, then pushed me into the elevator "What are you doing?" I exclaimed, he pressed the buttons and got out of the elevator "Being the bait" he said before the elevator door closed.

"No!" I jumped up, but it was too late.
