(Y/n)'s POV
I take a sip from my coffee while Sarah just looked at me like I was crazy. "So let me get this straight. If you don't bring that Russian asshole money, he'll kill you instead of Eric while it's his dept you're paying?" I nod and let out a little sigh. "I don't know what the fuck I did to deserve this! Am I a bad person?" I ask from her while tears start to run down my cheeks. I don't know why the hell everything bad always happened to me!
"No you aren't bad person. You just make bad decision which lead you right to the chopping block." I knew that she was right and it makes me giggle. "You're right." She nods and then seems to remember something. "Have you heard? Hunter and Christian might have bailed on Eric. I met Fox at the café and she was nervous. She told me about this but I have some suspicions what happened to them."
I tilt my head as I look at her. Of course she has to be nosy even without ex friend's business. "Well tell me." She looks towards Hope's room to see that the door was still closed. "I think that Russian guy killed them." I look at her like she was crazy. Surely that wouldn't be true! "Sarah. I just think they skipped the town to get away from them." Sarah only laughs and sips her coffee. I could see that she wasn't as optimistic.
"Yeah right! They're six feet under. I just know it!" She turns to look at me and then a wide smile comes on her face. "So, how's everything else? I don't think we should talk about these dark topics." I just shake my head with a laugh and look at the ceiling. "Everything still little weird but I think it's okay." She stands up and walks over to the kitchen. She pour herself more coffee as she looks at me like I was going to tell her the future.
"With whom? The bad boy or the teacher?" I didn't like it how she said that Frank was a bad boy since it reminded me too much of Eric but I know she was right. "With the bad boy." She laughs happily as she starts to jump up and down. "(Y/n)! You naughty girl! Do you like younger meat now?" I feel my face grow red with that! "Stop! He's just a couple of years younger than me! You make me sound so old!" She giggles with that and shrugs. "What can I say? You're the mommy of your group!"
I smile at her words as I think about the handsome teen. I really liked him. However I know that our relationship is a taboo and could probably get me fired from my job at the school but I liked the danger of it! It was like adrenaline, pumping through my veins but it gave me life! It made me feel younger again. Sure I wasn't old but still. Doesn't everyone want to feel younger than they really are? And Frank was so sweet too so I don't see any problems with this.
"I should go back home to wifey. Try to get some sleep while I'm gone." She says before she drinks rest of her drink and puts it on the counter. She walks over to me and gives me a hug. "Be safe my little one!" I smile at her words and tighten the hug. "Thank you for being here for me. I don't know what I would do if you weren't my friend." She awws before she pats my back. "Don't worry about it! You're like a sister I never got!"
I smile at her words even if it was little bitter sweet. I sometimes wondered what my relationship with Jade would have been, but I think it would be something like this. Maybe I should go visit her with Hope tomorrow. It has been so long since I last went to the cemetery since that was a place which I avoided. I hated to go look at her grave because I think that maybe if things went differently, I would still have my sister. If only she didn't leave that day. I should have made her stay...
"Call me tomorrow. If you want we could have Hope for the night and you could go to the spa or drink wine here or have a certain man over to have fun~." She says with a laugh which makes me smile too. "I'll think about it. Good night!" She nods before she leaves. I smile at the silence. Sure I loved to talk with friends or Hope but sometimes I just wanted to be alone with my thoughts. Surely everyone graves this!
