(Y/n)'s POV

"Why auntie Jade can't be here with us?" Hope asks as she looks at the old gravestone with my sisters name on it. Jade Hope (L/n). I smile to her and pet her hair. "It's because Heaven needed another angel. She had to go so she could look over us." She turns to look at me with her big curious eyes. "Do you think that she would have loved me like you do?" I wanted to just cry because of her cuteness. "She would have loved you just the same. That's why you have the same name."

She turns to look at the stone one more time before she smiles. "I like the name!" She says before she just start to run around. I trust her to stay close so I crouch in front of the gravestone and start to clean it up a little with my gloves. I wanted to make it look like it was new but the years and weather has taking their dull on it. Maybe I could have it renewed when the summer comes? It would honor her memory more.

I remember last night when Frank came to visit. We started to watch the movie but soon it turned into something else. It was amazing and I loved him but I can't help but to feel little guilty. Maybe it was because he was younger than me or that this was taboo since our relationship would certainly get me fired and it isn't viewed in a good way. Maybe the thrill of this relationship is something that keeps me going...

"Hope we should be..." I turn around to see that she was gone. SHIT! "Hope?!" I yell and look around. I start to walk around until I see her standing next to a tall man. I run over to see what's going on. "He passed away. I'm just here to sort some things out." The man says with deep voice while Hope was looking at another gravestone. "Excuse me." I say to them which makes them both turn around.

The man had long hair and a beard. He was dressed in punk like outfit and I could see that there was a scar over his left eye. When he sees me he seems to be little surprised before he smiles. "Hello. Is she your kid?" He asks as he points at Hope. I smile in relieve to see that he doesn't seem to be that bad. "Yeah. Sorry if she bothered you! She's just so fast when she wants to be." I was little embarrassed that this man saw that I was careless parent!

"No no no it's okay. They can vanish into nothing in seconds." He says with a laugh which makes me giggle. "You're right. I'm (Y/n)." I say to him while I offer him my hand. He takes it and gives it a firm shake. "My name is Jeff. Nice to meet you." He let's go and turns to look at Hope. "What's your name little one?" Hope smiles to him and swings on from side to side. "My name is Hope. Nice to meet you!"

Jeff smiles and crouches in front of her. "Nice to meet you too." He says and offers her his hand. She shakes it with a giggle before quickly let's go of him and turns to look at me with even bigger smile on her face. "Mommy! Jeff is here to visit his dad! Like we're visiting auntie!" I smile at her words and turn to look at him. "I'm sorry for your loss." He gives me a sad smile and then just shrugs. "It's fine. Just came into town to take care of few things." He says before he stands up. So it must be resent then? I felt bad for him.

"Is your dad watching over you like my auntie is watching over us?" Hope asks from him curiously which makes my heart almost stop. Why did she have to be so blunt?! "Hope! I'm sorry! She's just little curious." Jeff just laughs and shakes his head. "Don't worry about it. And now the answer to your question is yes. I think he's looking over me." Hope nods again before she takes her backpack. She takes out her dolphin plushie and shows it to him.

"This is Dolpie! I think she likes you!" Hope says as she offer the plushie to Jeff. He takes it with a smile and looks it over. "She's pretty! How old is she?" Hope seems to be over the moon that he was interested in it. "She's two years old! Mommy got her to me when we visited museum!" Jeff nods and takes the plushies fin. "Nice to meet you Dolpie." Hope giggles at that before Jeff gives her the toy back.
