Here are some sick day remedies i use to feel better faster! They may not always work, so if not, i dont now! But, here we go!
1. Get lots of sleep
2. Take wet washcloth, hot/cold doesnt matter, lay on forehead and sleep
3. Take some medicine
If you have ahigh temperature, and you feel cold, do NOT cover up, your body needs to cool down. You are going to feel cold, but really, your not. Your body is just adjusting to the air. And if you keep adding layers, your body will over heat and shut down! :(
4. Stay inside at ALL TIMES!! You dont want to go outside in the hot summer, or in the freezing winter. If you have a small fever and you go outside, the heat can give you a higher temp,and boil your stomach. If you go outide in the winter, the low temps can give you a severe head ache, and also freeze your teeth which leads to gum disease which leads to a lot of shots in your mouth.
5. Blow your nose asmuch as you can. Your ears nose and mouth are all connected. If your nose is clogged, you havee to breath through your mouth and dries it out and makes you want to drink. Than you will have to use the bathroom. Also a clogged nose can cause severe ear canal damage.
6. Do not eat hot, or solid food. Soup is okay, chiken noodleis even better!
7. Stay away from milk. If you drink milk while sick, the acidsin your stomach will curdle the milk, and spit it all back up. That would be a big nasty and smelly mess for your parents or you would have to pick up :(.
8. Wash your hands once an hour! Did you know, that every hour your hands gain over 1,000,000 germs. Even if you wash your hands and touch nothing! Germs are everywhere even in the air!
