part 1

they finished doing minor decorations then they went to a store and while the kids were in the basket rome was pushing them while y/n kept hitting his butt while he laughed telling her to stop after that he went on a different aisle while y/n hid then he walked down and she popped out scaring all of them making her laugh and smile for first time in a year

Rome: wow that's beautiful ain't it guys
Dior: mhm mom has a pretty smile
Venus: mine is gonna look like that one day
Isaac: no mine will
Y: aww all of yours will and thank you dior and you too rome
Rome: anytime now did i hear someone say movie night with ice cream and popcorn

the kids yelled drawing attention while y/n hushed them then she nudged rome making him look at her smiling and she rolled her eyes after that they went to the ice cream getting everyone their own tub then they went on a bunch of other aisles shopping for the house and getting groceries once they were done they paid for them all then when they were going outside rome picked y/n up placing her in the basket as well and she held onto all the kids while he started running to the car and spinning the basket around making all of them yell once he stopped they laughed and got out one by one then y/n buckled the kids in while rome put the bags in the car after that he opened y/ns door and she got in then he shut it and walked to the drivers side getting in

Rome: alright so what kind of movie we watching
Venus: disney princess
Dior: bruh no a horror movie
Isaac: an anime movie
Rome: girl what do you have them watching
Y: what do you mean
Rome: how do they all have different movie taste
Y: because i'm diverse like that
Rome: mhm sure
Dior: how about we watch my movie first then isaac then venus
Venus: why is mine last
Dior: because yours is more childish
Venus: is not
Dior: it definitely is but ok
Y: ok stop that
Venus: mom is my choice childish
Y: no but usually people watch the less scary movies at the end so they don't think about the scary ones at night and have nightmares
Venus: see dior

y/n shook her head looking at rome who was laughing and she playfully hit his shoulder then he drove off going back to the house when they made it the kids ran in the house with rome while y/n sat outside for a little just looking at the view then three girls came up to her smiling

Y: um hey
Isa: hey i'm isa
Talyeh: i'm talyeh
Jale: and i'm jale
Y: and i'm y/n and
Isa: oh we're your neighbors and we just came to welcome you to the neighborhood it sucks around here just an fyi
Y: ok
Jale: we also noticed you have kids they're adorable
Y: thank you
Jale: of course um we really just came because we have a friend group of three but we'd love to add a four
Talyeh: i thought we were gonna wait to ask
Jale: we're doing fucking terrible if we waited any longer she would've thought we were weird
Isa: she did look like she was about to walk off
Talyeh: but it's even weirder that we're talking about it in front of her
Isa: you started the conversation dummy
Jale: ok well we all need to stop because she looks weirded out we're fucking this up
Isa: i just want another friend
Jale: and we're not gonna get one if we keep talking
Y: um do y'all need a minute
Talyeh: no we're good now but yea that's why we came we just need a new friend so if it's cool with you of course would you like to be friends with us i promise we're not as weird as we seem
Y: sure i guess y'all seem cool
Isa: ok we understa- oh wait you said yes oh ok wow
Jale: i didn't think we'd get this far
Isa: me either
Jale: well welcome to our group we stay next door like we said whenever you want to hang out
Y: i'm about to have a movie night with my close friend and my kids if y'all want to join or whatever
Jale: can we bring our boyfriends
Y: sure
Isa: ahh ok be right back

the girls ran off and y/n just stood there waiting until they came back with three guys

Jale: this is my boyfriend jaden
Isa: this is my man lijah
Talyeh: and that'll leave me with mine which is bobby
Y: ok nice to meet all of you come on
