once y/n let go of the kids the others got them and took venus to get her leg bandaged then a doctor walked up to them

Doctor: are you relatives of mr flynn
Y: uhh yea i'm his fiancé
Doctor: well i want you to know he's doing fine he's a little sore but after a month or two he'll be back in his normal shape since it was close impact the bullet went straight through missing any important organs
Y: ok can i see him please
Doctor: yea follow me just you though we don't want him overwhelmed since he's just now waking up
Y: that's fine

the doctor shook his head then turned around walking to romes room while y/n followed behind him once they made it to his room he opened the door and y/n thanked him as she stepped in and he walked off when she made it next to his bed she pulled a chair next to it and held his hand she sat there just looking at him and crying with her head down until he gripped her hand and she looked up seeing he was looking at her and he lifted his hand putting it on her face and she held it with one hand kissing his hand

Rome: hey pretty lady
Y: shut up do not try to sweet talk me right now
Rome: what i can't just point out the obvious fact that you're very pretty
Y: no stop talking i should punch you for doing that
Rome: if i let him shoot him you would've been way more hurt
Y: rome i love you do you not think i would've been hurt if you died are you dumb
Rome: i love you too but the kids need kobe alive
Y: and i need you alive
Rome: i am alive
Y: thankfully
Rome: i only fought because you asked me to i meant what i told you when i said anything for you that's why i took that bullet for kobe you asked your dad to not kill kobe and since i jumped in front of him he didn't do it

Rome: ehh i'll live
Y: you're a pain in the ass
Rome: you know almost dying made me realize i never want to lose you

Rome: i'm saying you mean the world to me and i never want to lose you or be without you because you make me the happiest the happiest i've ever been and i won't give that away for the world baby girl i'm entirely in love with you and i know that now because you're the only reason i fought to stay alive if you weren't by my side i wouldn't have cared i probably would've just gave up but i knew i needed to see your face again and i wasn't going to die until i asked you to marry me i guess that's what all of this had been leading up to i always believed you should date to marry and baby i'm not gonna lie i want to marry you because you give me a reason to live
Y: is this your type of romantic venue
Rome: no but when i do ask you i really just want to be able to go on one knee and be like so instead of the big speech because i love you yes but i'm not saying how much in front of all those people i'm sorry
Y: ok well whenever you ask in a nicer place my answer will most definitely be fuck no
Rome: girl stop playing with me
Y: ok ok my answer will be yes

y/n carefully got on the bed laying next to rome and he looked at her while she looked back at him before she started smiling right before she laughed rome pulled her to him and kissed her and she kissed him back they made out for a few minutes until y/n pulled away and they just made eye contact

Rome: you're cute
Y: so are you
Rome: our kids would be cute
Y: our who
Rome: kids

y/n widened her eyes then she faked sleep making rome laugh and lightly smack her forehead making her open her eyes laughing as well

Rome: i want at least four
Y: boy we in a hospital keep playing imma get these tubes tied the fuck up

rome bust out laughing then he grunted in pain and y/n gently placed her hand on his chest

Y: you good
Rome: yea i'm fine i just laughed a little too hard
Y: i'm sorry i'm so funny
Rome: you're not funny you're just dumb

Y: and you're just shot

rome looked at y/n fighting back his laugh then he pinched her leg and she moved it about to hit him until she remembered and he stuck his tongue out making fun of her so she put her mouth around his tongue then kissed him and once he kissed her back she pulled away and he looked at her shocked

Rome: did you just suck on my tongue
Y: yes i did that
Rome: i'm not even mad do it again

y/n laughed while rome stuck his tongue back out and she put her finger on it pushing it back in making him laugh as well as her

Rome: can i leave yet
Y: you just got shot no you can't leave
Rome: this is pointless i'm fine now
Y: no you're not you just grunted in pain because you laughed too hard
Rome: no it's because i'm too hard
Y: i'm gonna hope you don't mean the way i think
Rome: that's definitely the way i mean
Y: i'm gonna suffocate you
