Chapter 1 : Turning Over A New Leaf.

"Hey Chrono, I know that things have been bad ever since the Crisis. But do you want to venture to this new Universe I discovered, it's called the Dead Zone. And I'm pretty sure it's just where you don't have Cell Service." "No. That sounds like a horrible idea." And it was a horrid idea, in fact it was the worst idea Leaf has had all week and the week only just started. "Well, there's nothing to be afraid of, Mr Chrono and Watch is gone. So... Time Portal : Dead Zone." Following the invocation, a portal to the Dead Zone "Are you coming?" "No. I'm going to be here to pick up the pieces like I always am." Chrono stated, rolling her eyes. Leaf entered the portal. "Why would you think a no cell service area would be fun?" Chrono thought to herself as she waited, waited in the wings for Leaf to return. Leaf did return,five minutes later. "Hey, uh...that place is nothing. It's just space." "Thank you, Leaf, for unleashing us." Fused Zamasu said, suddenly appearing behind them. "Us?" "The Eldritch Terrors, there was a sealing spell preventing us from leaving the Dead Zone but you unlocked it for us.." "Oh. That's great." Chrono said. "I bring upon you two the first Eldritch Terror." Fused Zamasu opened up a portal, Goten, coming out of it from his own fanfiction. "Hey, I have some fruit seeds that Malistare gave me, I'm just gonna plant this here." "No!" Chrono yelled, but Goten was already gone. "Great, now I'm gonna have to fix this mess." Chrono thought to herself. "So I didn't mean for this to happen." Leaf said. "Oh Really? You've had your new found powers for a week and the first thing you have done is released Eldritch Terrors from the Dead Zone because you thought it was fun to go to a world without Cell Service?" "I'm sorry? Can we get Canon Chrono or Scorpia?" "Yeah, we can get Canon Chrono, she hasn't been scarred." "Alright, then I shall summon her...uh... Time Pull...Canon Chrono." Then suddenly, Canon Chrono was there: " Why the fuck did you summon me? I am the last person who wants to see you idiots." "Oh well.. I apparently unleashed Eldritch Terrors upon this Universe." "Oh, that seems like a you problem." Canon Chrono said right before she attempted to leave. "Oh- another thing." Leaf said, cutting her off. "They're able to attach themselves to people traveling through the universes, you risk bring along the Eldritch Terrors as well." "Then why the fuck did you summon me? I can't help you, you're just making things WORSE by summoning me and of all people that would know this, I WOULD know this." Canon Chrono yelled. "Now where are these Terrors?" She continued. Jingle Bells began to whisper in the wind. Slowly getting louder and louder."Is that the fucking the fucking christmas tree of might who the hell planted that?" "Oh, uh...it's the first of the Eldritch terrors?" "The first? Out of how many?" "I don't know, I didn't exactly pay attention when Atlas was teaching me things." "Do you even know what the Christmas Tree of Might does?" "No." "It sucks all the Christmas joy out of the planet—that's Disney evil." "Oh, well, then it can't really be a terror? That's literally every day that isn't December." "It sucks the Christmas joy out of December, though." "What about the Jewish people? This isn't exactly a terror for them. It's selective really. How about I just time jump BEFORE I open the portal then I'll stop myself." "That won't work." "You don't know that I have twice the power I've had before. Time Jump, literally before I opened the portal." Nothing happened. All that could be seen were shattered Christmas ornaments forming around Leaf. "Oh, that wasn't supposed to happen." "You fool, you've only sped up the process for yourself." "What do you mean?" At that point, Leaf began to lose color starting from his fingers, it began to slowly creep up his body. "You're losing all of the Christmas joy that had previously been inside you, you will lose your color and then you will become a servant for the Christmas Tree of Might." "Hey other Chrono, this one is being a debbie downer, do YOU have any ideas." "No." The roots of the tree sprouted, erupting right through the middle of the Snow Globe Room, forcing the gang to flee to the Royale High commons in which there it was: Christmas Tree of Might, the roots of the tree extended throughout the halls of Royale High, absorbing the Christmas Joy. The building was the least affected, the people were drained of their Christmas Joy, grayscaled. They began to do the work of the tree."This is terrifying." "That's why it's called an Eldritch Terror" Both of the Chronos said. "Alright, Canon Chrono, how do you defeat this?"" "I can't believe you idiots summoned me to an episode of Buzzfeed unsolved. Just use a spirit bomb, you idiots." "Alright, so I found the video of Piccolo teaching us how to use the Spirit Bomb." "Wait, if we use our energy, wouldn't we just lose our Christmas joy faster?" "Well, if you die, I won't use necromancy to bring you guys back to life. I didn't want to be here in the first place." "Oh...well......in that case can you...do the spirit bomb?" "No" Leaf frowned. "I don't want to risk doing the Spirit Bomb." He said as he looked down at his hands as the gray spell slowly crept through his body. Leaf suddenly looked up as a voice called out to him, "He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake." "Oh no." Canon Chrono said as he looked at Leaf's eyes. Leaf's eyes began to fade to gray. " You have to fight it. " It was too late, the gray spell had completely taken Leaf over. "Hello Chronos. I speak for the Eldritch Terrors." "Really? Weren't you Leaf like five seconds ago? "I was- I still am, I'm just better now." "So you won't summon me randomly?" "Something like that." Leaf turned over to Royale High Chrono, who had decided to go to the Christmas Tree of Might, pulling a fruit off of it. "Is this what happiness feels like?" As if she was about to crack a smile, but not even the compressed Christmas Joy could pierce through the darkness that plights her. The fruit in her hand later crumbled to pieces, releasing a faint jingle bell. "Right, I doubt I can convince you to join my cause, so why don't you stay a while." The roots from the Christmas Tree of Might wrapped around Royale High Chrono, creating a jail. But while Leaf was too caught up in the happenings with Royale High Chrono, Canon Chrono had created a spirit bomb consisting of only feelings of disappointment. "My disappointment is immeasurable and this Christmas is ruined." The tree ends up falling, the Christmas Joy returning to the people and back into the world. " I was only the first of the Eldritch Terrors; there are more to come, each worse than the last, " Leaf said before the Christmas Joy returned to him. He fell to the ground.
