Once upon a time, in an empire named Aerowyn was an empress, the empress was an evil one, who controlled the emperor forcing him to hurt the people of his empire.
One day while he was away he met a widowed woman and her son, falling madly in love with the new woman causing the brainwashing to be destroyed. The emperor ordered that the empress be killed for brainwashing him.
When the empress was finally beheaded he took the widowed woman as his new wife and started ruling the empire fairly. The only thing his last wife left behind were her three children.
The emperor, not wanting anything to do with the children, sent them away, the two twin boys to the military, and the daughter was taken by the church. Thus leaving the son of the widowed woman as the next heir, it was also said he had royal blood in him and was suited to be the next heir.
