I could feel it reaching all around me, their hands were strong, but were gentle upon my skin, as if they were scared to break me.

I could hear their anger, all of their pent up rage, it was all slowly slipping from them, their hands finally reaching around my waist and pulling me into them, squeezing gently but tightly.

When it seemed they had finally finished they let me go and I turned around. We stared into each other's eyes for what felt like an eternity until he began to speak.

"Tell me your name." He spoke in such a demanding tone, hearing his voice sent fear running through me, I felt weak and helpless, just like when my sight was almost taken.

He seemed to sense my uneasiness because he pulled me in close and softly whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I'll play gentle with you,"
"Alice," I quietly say, staring down at the clumps of moss on the ground.

"I already told you I'd be gentle, if you continue acting like this I might have to use some force!" He angrily shouts, grabbing my arm. He pulls my face close to his when he immediately stops, he could see the tears forming in my eyes.

"My name's Lucas," He loosens his grip on me but does not let go. "Stop being scared of me already, I said I wouldn't hurt you."
"Lucas," He stared me straight in the eyes as I spoke, "That's, a nice name."

"Listen, just who are you? That temple you were at, it's where they send people they don't wanna see anymore, so why was an innocent young girl at that terrible temple anyway?" He asks in a demanding way.

This boy, Lucas, always seems to demand things, and even though I can't see properly, it looks like he has horns. Is he a demon? I thought that all demons were mean, but Lucas is rather nice in a controlling way.

I wanna be his friend, but people close to me always seem to disappear or get hurt really badly. I should hurry up and leave so he doesn't get hurt. As my mind foggs up with these thoughts I feel a yank as I fall on something hard.

I looked around realising I was now sitting, feeling two arms wrap around me. I turned my head to see Lucas, he was sitting behind me holding me in his arms. It was nice, I felt safe, like nothing could touch me, I let myself sink into him.

We must have stayed that way for hours, because when I opened my eyes again, I realized it was dark already, and instead of sitting we were laying, his arms were still wrapped tightly around me. Just as I was about to close my eyes once more I could hear shouting, as I looked around more I could see the faint golden glow of a lantern.

It must be the church looking for me.
"Lucas, Lucas." I spoke, trying to worm out of his grip.
"Be quiet, we're laying like this a while longer,"  He said, squeezing me even tighter.
"Please, someone's coming!" I exclaimed as the shouting came closer.

Lucas finally let go, I could feel the gloom coming from him as he reached his hand out for me.
