Carressa's POV:

Noon came but my mom didn't. We waited for her to pull up but she never did. By 1, I finally decided to call her. She answered and told me that something came up and she was sorry she forgot to text or call us. So we loaded our bags into the other cars that we had, Cameron's little car and the black SUV Paul drives.

Val and Cameron left shortly after everything was loaded up and the rest of us hung back for a few minutes. After finally getting into the car, we left the hotel and started weaving our way through traffic. After almost an hour of traffic, we were finally on the open road, heading home.

2 and a half hours later, we pulled up in front of my house. Sam came running out the front door and straight to the car door. He plastered his face to the window, peering inside, and then smiling when he spotted me. I reached over Niall and opened the door. He climbed in and tackled me. I hugged him and told him to get out of the car so we could, getting a weird look from Niall as Sam high fived him as he left the car.

We all piled out of the car and into my house. We left the bags in the car for now. I gave my mom a hug when she came out of the kitchen. She gave Niall the stink eye as he hung back by the door.

"So, how was it?" Mom asked.

"It was amayzing. I loved it." I said. "Can I go see if Val made it home?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure, go hun, do you have your phone?" Mom asked.

"Yes, I do. Love you." I said. I kissed her cheeck and then turned and headed towards the front door, again. I grabbed Niall's hand as I opened the door and stepped through. I shut the door behind us and looked at him.

"Are you scared of my mom?" I asked.

"A little." he confessed.

"Wow." I said.

The other boys came out of the house and said they were going to unpack. They walked to the car and began pulling out bags, taking them next door to the house that they had rented before we left for the vacation.

I lead Niall around to the garage. I hit a button by the door and the lights flickered on, then I headed towards my car.

"You have a car?" Niall asked.

"Yeah, but I don't really like driving it so I usually walk everywhere. It makes my mom a little upset but I think she understands, she was the same way." I said.

Niall looked at my cherry red Mazda3. I opened the drivers door and stood behind it, looking at him still standing in the doorway.

"Are you going to get in or are you going to stand there all day?" I asked. He started walking around the car and then slide into the passenger side. I slide into the driver's seat and put the keys in the ignition, not turning them yet. I pulled out my phone and texted Val real quick. After hitting send, I set the phone down between the seats and hit the button on the remote for the garage door on my viser. It shuttered and began to open slowly. I turned the key and the car started with a low purr. I waited for the door to open, buckling in the process.

Val replied and I looked at it, still sitting in the garage. She had made it home.

"If you were just going to text her, why did you ask if you could go see her?" Niall asked.

"I didn't want to be told no." I said.

"No for what?" Niall asked.

"You'll see." I said, pulling out of the garage and hitting the button as we pulled out of the driveway. The garage door began shutting as I pulled onto the street. The boys at the car looked a little confused when we drove by. I drove to main street and then turned towards the highway.
