Niall's POV:
Carra ran from my room and I stood there watching her leave. I didn't know what to do. After a few moments, I snapped out of my trance and ran after Carra.
I made it out of the house just in time to see her car disappear around a corner. I slumped my shoulders and went back inside.
"What happened?" Harry asked when I entered the living room.
"Carra ran out of here so fast I didn't get to joke with her." Louis pouted.
"She looked like she was crying." Liam said softly. "Did you two have a fight?"
Zayn came into the room just then. He came right over to me and put his hand on my shoulder, turning me towards him.
"Is everything ok between you and Carra? I heard you guys fighting." he said.
I burst into tears. Zayn pulled me into a hug and the others got up from their seats. I cried on Zayn's shoulder for a while. After I regained the ability to breath without hiccuping or sobbing, I tried to explain what had happened without breaking down again.
"Ok, so try to call her. Apologize before she completely breaks down. DON'T let her get away." Louis said.
"She's is so perfect for you. I have never seen you happier." Liam said.
I nodded. I got up off the couch and went to my room. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went to my contact list. I tapped on Carra's contact info and held my finger over the call button.
Is she still mad at me? Will she answer? What will I say if she does answer?
It went to voicemail.
It has been almost two hours, where is she? What is she doing? I kept calling. Finally after maybe half an hour, I decided to put my phone up and stop calling her. She might be getting annoyed with me. But I didn't keep my eyes off it. I waited for it to ring.
A while passed before my phone began ringing. I answered it after a moment which was spent realizing it was Carra.
"Carra. Where are you?" I answered the phone.
"I'm on my way home. Why? What's wrong?" She asked me.
"Nothing, you just ran out and I couldn't find you. You know you've been gone all day, right?" I said.
"Yeah...Son of a bitch." She cursed softly.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing, just idiot drivers. I think he's drunk." She told me. My head flooded with scenarios where this wouldn't end nicely and I instantly got so worried my stomach clenched.
"Get his license plate number, pull over and call the cops." I told her to do.
There was silence on the other side of the phone. Then I heard a sharp breath and what sounded like the phone being dropped. Other things were happening in the background. Crunching metal, shattering glass, Carra screaming.
"CARRA!!" I screamed into the phone. I started pacing my room. Liam and Harry burst through my door and looked at me frantically.
The other side of the line began to fall silent as the noises grew quieter and eventually stopped. I heard nothing coming from the other side of the phone and I thought it went dead. I pulled it away from my ear to check and saw that it was still on our call.
I held the phone to my ear and listened. I listened for anything. A few moments passed before I swore I heard faint sirens. A few more moments and the sirens were more distinct and easier to hear.
