Infinity

Chapter 14

6 o'clock came way to fast.

Val was just finishing up my hair when Niall knocked on my door. I told him to hold on one moment and told Val to hurry. She gave me the ok and told me she would be staying with the boys tonight if she needed me and I grabbed my purse and checked myself over in the mirror before opening the door. And I would say that I looked amayzing. The dress, my hair curled and the sides pinned back, my make up was put on perfectly to match my outfit. A sliver necklace hung around my neck. It was and infinity sign that said 'dream' in cursive as part of the infinity. I also had on a pretty gold braclet, light blue rose earings, and light blue heels with small bows on the toe.

Niall was wearing a light grey dress shirt with a black tie and black dress pants. You could tell his hair was combed but it was still a little bit of a cute mess. His eyes scanned me over and then he smiled at me. 

"Shall we go?" he asked, holding out his hand for me. 

I nodded my head and grabbed his head, shutting the door behind me and letting him lead me down the hall. We left the hotel and went to a fancy restaurant called Tursi's Latin King. I personally never heard of it but Niall said it was a good restaurant.

We went in and got to our seats. Niall pulled my chair out for me before sitting down himself. The waiter handed us menus as he introduced himself. He gave us a smile before leaving. I looked at the menu and had a little trouble deciding what to get.

When the waiter came back to get our orders, I finally decided on what to get.

"Are you guys ready to order?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'll take the Chicken Spiedini and the New York Strip please." Niall said.

"And what would you like for and appetizer sir?"

Niall looked at his menu for a moment before answering him. "The Cripsy Onion Rings."

"And you ma'am?" the waiter said, turning to me after jotting down Niall's order. 

I'll take the Steak and Lobster and the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks please." I said. The waiter wrote down my order and then grabbed our menus and left. He came back about five minutes later with glasses filled with a purple liquid. 

"What's this?" I asked him as he set them down. 

"It's our finest wine, on the house." he told us.

Niall and I thanked him and he left again. I've never had wine before so I just looked at the glass. Niall picked it up and took a sip, making an astounded look on his face.

"It's actually pretty good. You should try it." Niall said, setting the glass down again. 

I picked up the glass and took a small sip. The taste exploaded in my mouth and tingled my throat as it moved down. It was good, but I wasn't going to drink a lot of it. I set the cup back down and agreed with him.

A few laughs and minutes later, the appetizers came. Niall ate a few onion rings and I had a few bites of my cheese sticks.

"You should try this." I said, holding out a cheese stick. 

"Only if you try this." Niall said holding out an onion ring. 

I leaned forward and opened my mouth and he put the onion ring in it. I gave him the cheese stick and he ate it. A few minutes passed and our meals came. 

We talked and laughed the whole time and I have to say, the meal was really good. I did end up drinking the whole glass of wine and another half a glass before I started feeling dizzy and decided to stop. 

After the dinner, Niall took me to the car and told me he had a surprise for me. We drove for about 15 minutes before pulling up to the Southridge Mall. We went inside and to the store selling winter coats and jackets. He bought me the jacket I wanted and a jacket for himself and then took me ice skating. 

"Niall, I'm not a very good skater." I told him as we put on our skates. 

"Me either, but let's learn together." he said. We got our skates on and got onto the ice rink together, already failing. 

We stayed close to the edge and made our way around the rink. After getting about halfway around, a guy came by and asked if he could help us learn to skate. We both said yes at the same time. The guy introduced himself as Jack and then began teaching us. As time went on, Niall caught on and began skating really well but I was still not balanced and stuck on the wall. 

Niall stayed by my side the whole time, trying to help me. After about an hour, I finally started getting the hang of it and I was able to leave the wall. I couldn't skate fast but at least I could skate. Niall and I skated around the rink hand in hand, talking and laughing about the most random things. 

"Niall, stop, I can't breathe!" I said between laughs and breathes. As I tried to catch my breathe, I lost my balance and fell, bringing Niall down with me. I landed on my hip and elbow and he landed on his bum. We laughed for almost five minutes before we even tried to get up. 

But trying to get up proved to be a problematic and a laugh causeing situation. We eventually found our way up and when we did, we dicided to be done. We returned the skates and then walked around the mall. 

"Attention customers, the mall will be closing in five minutes."  a voice said over the speakers. 

Niall and I decided to go to the hotel but the date was not over yet. We grabbed the radio from my room and went to the roof. We turned on 107.5 and started dancing and singing. We dance crazily and laughed our butts off. 

Time flew by and it was now going on midnight and we were still not ready for the date to be over. A slow song came on and Niall held out his hand to me.

"May I have this dance my lady?" he asked.

"You may sir." I said, laying my hand in his. We started dancing and I've never felt safer. I felt like a meteor could hit this hotel and Niall and I wouldn't be touched. I was in heaven. I layed my head on his shoulder and listened to the song and the sounds of the traffic going on on the streets. 

Niall pulled me off him half way through the song and looked me in the eyes. 

"What?" I asked him.

"Carra, what would you say if I told you I loved you?" he asked me.

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. All I know is I loved him. I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his. He relaxed and wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped mine around his neck. 

I broke away from the kiss to take a breath. 

"Carra" he breathed.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I love you." he whispered to me.

"I love you." I said to him. It felt so right.
