I'm With The Band

"Okay, and what are we gonna do during study time?" Bill says, standing with his arms crossed.

His best friend Ted, aka my crush, standing to his left leaning against the row of lockers. "Yeah what are we gonna do Y/n, I mean a babe like you isn't just gonna study, with us."

I giggle at them a bit, Ted just called me a babe???

"Okay okay, you got me. I wasn't actually gonna study with you guys, I was just gonna watch you guys practice a bit for your band. I really like it."

Their eyes widened, "Really?" Ted says with a hand on his neck. "You like Wyld Stallyns? OUR, band?"

I grabbed Ted's shoulder with one hand and Bills with the other. "Yes. I do like your band. Are we still up for today?"

The two boys looked at each other, smiled, and screamed YES. "Okay, well we have to get to class. Meet me here at three." They both screamed excellent and then did their infamous air guitar.

After they started walking away, Ted stopped abruptly and turned around to run back and hug me. He wrapped his arms around me and laid his head in the crook of my neck, I could feel his breathing on my neck. I've never been hugged by him before and his touch was so different from others.

"Tedddd, come on dude or Mr. Ryan is gonna kill us."

Ted released his grip and looked at me, "See you after school y/n" he said in a playful voice, then kissing me on the cheek and running back to Bill in what I guess was embarrassment.

I blushed and walked to my class.

*TIME SKIP*

I walked to the spot where we were gonna meet, they weren't there so I headed to Mr. Ryans room since it was their last period. As I walked to the doorway I could hear them talking, "Do this assignment before our final exam guys. Now leave."

The two boys nodded and turned around to see me waiting. "Hey, guys!" I said with excitement. Bill and Ted looked gloomy, "Hey y/n," they said with no expression.

We left the school and walked to Bill's house, the whole walk was the two boys talking about Mr. Ryan and how they didn't know what to do.

We got to Bill's house in a matter of minutes, I was the last one in and Ted held the door open for me. I can't believe Ted is giving me this attention, maybe he likes me?

We dropped our stuff off at Bills room. Then headed to the garage where all their instruments were. They were getting something ready, I walked over and ran my fingers across a guitar.

"That's my guitar," Ted says in my ear, making my whole body tingle. "Jeez, sneak up much?" I ask stepping to the side a bit. He laughed and picked up the instrument. "She's beautiful isn't she?"

I nodded and touched the bottom of it. "Just like you," he whispers, making my heart drop and my cheeks blush.

"Oh shut up you dork." I playfully punch his arm. "Wanna learn how to play? I c-can teach you a bit? Even though I'm not that good."

"Of course," I said excitingly. Ted smiles. He moves behind me and wraps the guitar strap around my neck.

I place my hands where I think they are supposed to go, and Ted puts his hands on top of mine. "So strum with your left hand and move your right-hand fingers up and down the neck where the wires are."
