Small rays of sun shone through Hinata's white curtains, successfully waking him up. 'What time is it' he thought to himself as he rubbed on his swollen eyes. '6:30' "Shit, I need to get ready" the ginger spoke aloud to himself. He took a cold shower to reduce the swelling of his eyes and from the noticeable bruise on his cheek his ;father; had given to him the day before. He went downstairs and met his mother making him breakfast. "G'mornin mom" Hinata said while adjusting his tie. "Mornin dear, come eat" his mom replied. "okay mom." This was one of the first peaceful mornings Shoyo had experienced, His dad was asleep, no yelling or complaining. Just peace.

Timeskip to training

Hinata was still quite pissed off with his teammates after the ignorant comment they made on his feelings. He didn't understand why everyone thought he couldn't have bad days. As he entered the gym, he was greeted by the two second years. "HEY SHOYOOOO" Tanaka and Noya both yelled. "hey guys". the ginger replied in a monotone. He dodged their hugs and walked straight into the changing room, leaving everyone in the gym shocked. "Whats up with shrimpy", Tsukishima questioned with a smirk on his face. "Someone shit in his cereal or something?" Everyone shrugged it off thinking they may be overreacting. As Shoyo entered the gym, he picked up a volleyball and began to spike it against the wall while receiving it. "Hinata, come spike my tosses" Kageyama said, kind of in a questioning tone. Hinata didnt reply, he simply just walked over and motioned for him to begin. Everyone could tell Hinata was off is A game. His spikes were weaker than usual, he wouldn't celebrate after he scored, he was just, dull.

Daichi was kind of worried for Shoyo, he didnt understand why out of nowhere, Shoyo was upset, because he is never upset. "Hinata c'mon get it together" Daichi yelled while clapping his hands three times. This made Hinata flinch slightly because he reminded himself of how his father would also yell at him, and how it would make him cry. "Sorry sir" Hinata whispered. He felt the tears running down his cheek, 'Why am i so dramatic, I'm messing up everything and dragging my team down, fuck sake'. He quickly wiped his tears but his teammates already noticed them.

"H-hinata, are you okay" Daichi questioned while moving closer to him. Hinata pulled out his hands, preventing him from moving forward "I'm fine, don't worry about me hah" Hinata chuckled, with his most fake smile. "Phew, we almost thought our junior was sad for a second" Tanaka yelled will putting his hands over hinata's shoulders. "Yeah, no way! right?" Noya added, the rest of the team except Kageyama, nodding. "Right, i can never be sad, i have no reason to 'cus my emotions and how I feel aren't important, yeah!" Hinata said sarcastically which his team caught onto. "Yeah i feel kind of sick i'm going home" He said before anyone could speak. He walked straight into the changing room, got his stuff and stormed out.

"Huh?" Suga questioned. "What was that" Asahi asked. Kageyama knew what Hinata meant and was angry for him. "Why are you guys confused, he got angry just now because of you all, tch" Kageyama yelled slightly. "Always invalidating his feelings expecting him to be happy 24/7, your opinions have obviously taken somewhat of a toll on him, don't act dumb" "I didn't know he felt that way" Suga said. "We need to apologize to him" Tanaka and Nishinoya added.  "Yeah, you do that, I'm leaving" Kageyama said as he was heading towards the door. He was looking for Hinata until he heard whimpers in the bathroom.

"Hinata!" kageyama exclaimed. He barged in and was met with Hinata with his head resting on his knees in the corner of the bathroom. 'Shit why is he always the one to find me' Hinata thought to himself. Hinata didn't reply but could hear footsteps getting closer and closer to him. "What do you want?" Hinata said quite blatantly. Kageyama sat down beside him quietly and then began to speak. "It's okay to feel upset, nobody is ever always at 100 percent. Your feelings are valid. You don't need to tell me the root of your problems but I'm here to talk, or to listen, whichever." Hinata was surprised by his words, but was oddly comforted. He felt as if Kageyama was the only one in the world who understood him. Even his own mother would tell him to suck it up now and then.

"Thanks Kageyama, I really needed that" Hinata whispered. He leaned in and hugged Kageyama unconsciously. The taller male was blushing madly but thankfully Hinata couldnt see his face. Tobio quickly pushed Hinata off his shoulder, "W-What, shit sorry Kageyama I didn't mean to hug you, i screw everything up, just tell me I'm disgusting and u can go" Hinata rambled. "Wait huh? I pushed you off because u were getting snot on my shoulder" Kageyama said while laughing. Hinata soon joined in to the laughter and Kageyama hugged him again. "I'm happy to see that you're also happy" he whispered into the ginger's ear. Hinata looked kageyama and leaned in to kiss him, Kageyama noticed and began to do the same, their eyes were shut and their lips puckered until RINGGGGGG. "Shit we have to get to class" Kageyama said. they both looked at each other and giggled at their failed attempt to kiss each other. The raven head left first, leaving Hinata red asf on the floor. 'what was that, he also tried to kiss me, too bad the bell rang' Hinata thought while smiling to himself.
