She stands as tall as the Lady of Liberty -
Spewing words of wisdom
But her tongue is dipped in the ink of calligraphy,
So no one tries to understand her
Instead they ridicule her uncensored mind,
Dethrone her ability to express herself as she pleases
All because they weren't born with honest hearts.
True words make their heads fall off -
"Tell me, are you afraid of the dark?"
A thriller - her thoughts unravel
Drawing out the most interesting dialogue - pastel?
Yet she no longer brings up topics first
In fear of rejection,
All because of mere subjections
Introverted & "too" complex worded.
Imagine that - being deemed as an annoyance all because you enjoy informing conversation,
Leading you to close off your freedom of expression for those who will never get you.
Oh, i never said she did such a thing.
She just learnt to only speak her mind whenever comfortable -
After all, not everyone is willing to listen,
Most mouths talk to mirrors all day anyway.
A Lion of Liberty i should say -
Her smile is a beautiful mess
Legs as long as pillars of pride
Eyes of an observatory - she notices everything
Thanks to her 2 monocles,
But she is not one to tell you
Who said she was obligated to? -
Hair as big as the imagery in her head
It flows like a petal that fell into the pond,
Calm but without any direction -
A mind of the Ninth & Fourteenth Amendment -
It has the choice to do & be anything it wants.
Lips busy being famished for more knowledge to devour -
And so her curious mind feeds it just that,
As her intelligence grows so does her mane -
So does her eyes as they blossom like a bottled up anime character who's finally been asked how they felt.
"Now That's Exhilarating."
But you still don't see it,
Her raw emotions -
The feelings they've made her suppress
Or so the ones she chooses to.
It's all inside - an unreported storm
Unpredictable -
It wasn't on the map
Meteorologists always guess it wrong
It's timing is impeccable.
The liberty
The freedom,
She is - free
