Hey welcome to another one shot. I was suffering cause of a Venti one shot so now my readers will suffer with my cringy writing. So i hope you enjoy this :)
Backstory: Y/N started traveling with Aether when they met in Liyue. She met Venti about 4 months ago.

"N/N~ How are you on this *Hic* fine *Hic* evening~" Yep somehow the drunk short boy walking towards you was your bestfriend. You've only known him for 4 months but he quickly became like a leach and wont leave you alone. It was annoying at first but you learned how to accept it.
"Jeez Venti again. You really need to learn how to hold yourself back." He notices my remarks even though he's still a drunken mess. "How is this the almighty Anemo Archon lord Barbatos." Venti widens his eyes old to close them and jumping on me. He puts his arm around my shoulder and whispers "How do youu~ know that *Hic* I'm Bar *Hic* Batos~" He slurs on his words and wobbles a bit. "First off I'm pretty sure even sir Kaeya can control himself more than yo-" As you say that the tavern doors swing open. You see Rosaria come out dragging something. You get a closer look and see her dragging sir Kaeya on the floor while he's passed out drunk.
"I stand corrected." You look back at Venti and he gives you a cheeky smile. You sigh in defeat and put him on your back. "Okay to the Windrise." He puts his hands around you and you start running. Its harder than you expected. It became really hard when Venti would complain how your running fast. If it was just his complaining it would have been but no he has to be the Anemo Archon. Every time he would get fussy strong gusts of wind would hit you.
"Y/N~ I don't wanna go *hic* homee~. I wan *hic* na st *hic*a y with you~" You heard the bard exclaim while another bursts of anemo hit you. "Venti calm down your gunna blow us away." You try to calm him down almost to the Windrise. You look him his face burning with a Crimson on them. It looks like blush but he's also drunk so you guess it was the wine. Having enough of his tantrums you set him down. He looks at you confused when you sit next to him. "Okay why do you wanna stay with me." You look at Venti to see his teal eyes almost sparkling in the moon. You were so distracted by his eyes you didn't even notice how his blush grew deeper, looking at the ground. "Its cause," he took a long pause before looking up at you. In truth he loved everything about you. how your H/N H/C blew in the wind. How your E/C eyes lit up when you were excited. He loved every part of you. Even your adorable smile. He realized he was staring and continued,
"Its cause I love you Y/N. I have and always will." Your face heated up. Eyes widening till you realized. He was still drunk. He didn't mean anything. You put your feelings aside and said, "Okay Venti you really are drunk. Now your saying things that don't make sense. C'mon we are almost home."
You looked to Venti and he had a sad smile plastered on his face. You opened your mouth but no words came out. You just looked away and kept walking towards the Windrise.
What you didn't notice is Venti was completely sober again. He meant every word he said to you. He wanted to tell you that he want drunk but he couldn't. For some reason he was scared that you would reject him, and go back to Liyue with the traveler. So he kept acting.
"Y/N You loook so pretty~ in your ca *hic* sual *hic* outfit~" you scoffed at his words and walked in total comfortable silence. But it was soon interrupted by a small snore. You look to see Venti sound asleep on your back. "For the love of Rex Lapis, Hes asleep. Great now he will be even heavier."
Slowly but surely you made it to the Windrise. You set Venti down onto the foot of the tree. But you couldn't leave him here. You sighed and laid down next to him. " I swear this archon will be the death of me." Little by little you drifted off to sleep with Venti right beside you.
