"Aika, c'mon, we have to board the airship" a certain white haired male said, looking up at the taller male he talked to. The blue haired male came back to his senses, looking at Killua with a slight light in his eyes. "Yeah, let's go then". The small group entered the ship, walking to small rooms that were prepared for them. Aika walked with Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio. Killua had now trusted his ex fiance and Gon had always trusted him. Leorio was too naive to realize what was happening and Kurapika always had his guard up while around him. "Hey, Aika. What happened when I left the household?" Killua asked, walking on one side of the male. The bluette took a while to think of an answer, remembering the day all too well.

The blue haired male walked through the forest of the Zoldycks house. It was night by the time the male wearing heels arrived. Approaching the door, he heard a scream echo throughout the house. It was clear who it came from. Aika opened the door cautiously, walking in with light clicks from his heels here and there. It wasn't until he approached the stairs where he saw blood leak down, and at the top stood the white haired male with his mother on the ground, her eyes bleeding. Aika looked up at his fiance with menacing eyes, though he didn't wish to kill him at the moment, he might have too. The male disappeared from Killua's sight, appearing behind him while knocking him unconscious. "Never thought I'd have to knock out me soon to be husband" Aika commented. He kneeled near him, using one of his fingers to move his hair out of his eyes. With a light sigh, Aika picked Killua up, disappearing from the premises. He arrived in the forest outside of the Zoldycks territory, putting down Killua. He looked back at the mountain the Killua's family owned, thinking about what he was to do. "This is a one time thing. I won't help you again" he said before disappearing.

"To be quite honest, I don't remember," Aika lied. Killua sighed a tad bit, wanting to know what really happened but accepted that the blue haired male didn't wish to share. "Yeah, okay. I understand, I guess". Killua looked forward. He didn't want to pry too deep into his private thoughts. He knew that the taller male was going through enough as is, having to deal with the magician that goes by the name Hisoka. It did make Killua curious. Why did Aika not have the courage to fight against Hisoka? Why did the blue haired male not be able to even stand near the magician? It made Killua both angry... and worried? Strange. "You okay Killua?" Gon asked, snapping Killua out of his thoughts. Killua looked at his best friend, trying to catch his own thoughts to answer him. "Uh... yeah. I was just lost in thought" he replied, catching the attention of the blue haired male. He looked down at the pair, tilting his head in the slightest way. "Lost in thought? Like... how lost in thought" he asked.

Aika was emotionally a child, or so his twin sister says. He wants to understand the reason he gets lost in deep thought when around Illumi and legs ceased to move when around Hisoka. Though he has yet to understand these feelings, he can at least call himself a human with these results, something that he hasn't ever considered himself from the day he was called a weapon.

"Uhm, lost enough to zone out, I guess" Killue replied, not really understanding how to answer him completely. Aika, though not showing much facial reactions, gazed at him. Zone out? Was that what he was doing when he was lost in thought. Did he zone out? "Aika, are you okay?" Killua asked him. Aika nodded his head slightly, looking back at the halls of the airship. "I'm in this room. I'll be going" with that said, Aika separated from the rest and went into the room. Upon entering, he looked up to meet the eyes of his fiance, Illumi, fully out of his disguise and looking like he just had a shower. "Hmm? Oh, I arrived here not too long ago. I intended to wait for you but you took too long" Illumi said. Aika merely nodded, walking to the bed and sitting down. "You're brother, he's better than I thought that he was" Aika stated truthfully. Though he only met with Killua once before he ran away from home, he remembered that the boy was angry at something that even Killua didn't know about. But not anymore. He was calm. Aika naturally assumed that it was thanks to that boy that Killua hung out with, Gon.

"You've been spending a lot of time with my brother lately. Any reasoning behind that?" Illumi asked. Aika looked up at him. He knew the answer was clear but did he intend on telling Illumi? That his brother was the one that had made him realize that he was a brother. That he was a human and not a weapon. That Aika was someone who, though never uses it, has a heart. "He's the only one that I'll accept help from at the moment. So don't bother trying to tell me to stop hanging out with him" he answered. Though he never got along with Killua at the start of their engagement, now that they have nothing to do with each other, Aika was comfortable being his friend. It's not like he was forced to be his friend anymore. And he didn't intend to throw that away.

"... you're accepting help from someone?" Illumi asked the blue haired male. Aika looked away. Was that going too far? If there was anything the Illumi knew about Aika was that he hated asking and receiving help from someone. Aika knew that this was weird for him. He, himself, was weirded out by this, but regardless it was the truth. He wanted to stay by the one person that'll keep him grounded from both Hisoka and Illumi. "Yes, I am. Why is there something wrong?" Aika asked. Illumi looked at the male in shock. What was happening to him? The male that could easily take down and kill someone on his own was asking for help? It was weird..

SNAP

Illumi looked to Aika, who was looking at the heels that he had on his feet. Looking down, he could easily tell that his heel had snapped. Aika pulled off his heel, looked at the snap in the heel. It was easy to tell that he was annoyed, and so close to the next part of the exam. "Do you have any spares?" Illumi asked. Aika shook his head. There was nothing he could do. Why had it broken? With a deep sigh, he pulled off his other heel and threw them in the corner. There was nothing that he could do about it. Aika layed down on his bed. It was a bad idea to go into the exams without his heels but until he can find a way to stop the exams, he has to. The blue haired male stayed in bed, not bothered to bid his fiance farewell when he left.

Gittarackur walked out to the sight of the magician himself standing outside the door. "You did something to his heels, didn't you?" Aika's fiance said, a terrifying presence oozing from his body. Hisoka merely laughed, his smile ceasing to leave nor change upon his wretched face. "I didn't do a thing to his heels,/ Maybe he should be more careful with where he leaves them" he finished his sentence, leaving soon after. Gittarackur glared at the magician all the way down the hallways. Hisoka was getting a little too close with Aika and despite the fact that they were only getting married because of his family, he hated knowing that Hisoka was after him.

Aika stayed in his room, his broken heels in the farthest corner of his room and his contact lenses still in his eyes. It's been a while since he had to go an entire day without his heels and it made him mad. Sure, an hour or two was okay, but a day, at most, a week without them. It had put a heavy concern on his mind. With a deep sigh, he closed his eyes, not wanting to deal with the situation at hand. Tomorrow was going to be a hard day.
