40. Weird

Fifth Year:

The celebration of Teddy's win was over, and we managed to sneak the boys to our dorm.

It wasn't easy, with the steps sliding and stuff, but with a little help from magic, we were now witting on our beds, watching the muggle TV.

"Ted" I threw my pillow at Teddy, who was sitting next to Roxanne on her bed.

"Mhm."

"Do you still have that bubble gum with you, by any chance?"

"Nope, Fred finished it." He threw the pillow back and I caught it.

"I have a question." Fred got up from the floor and closed the TV.

"Dude!"

"Hey, note nice."

He shook his head and we waited for him to ask his 'so very important question' .

"So no one," he raised his arms, " no one in this room, finds it weird that only twenty minutes ago two of our friends kissed? Really ?" His last words came out squeaky.

We shrugged.

"Not even a little ? How?!" He leaned on the small TV and it nearly fell. Which made him sit back down on the floor.

Alice cleared her throat next to me. "Well... if I'm being honest, last year I always thought Lily and Teddy were dating. And if I'm being fully honest, I was also not so sure about this year either."

"What?" I chuckled, sitting up on my bed. "How come?"

She looked around the room. Fred and James laying on the floor, Roxanne and Teddy laying on Roxanne's bed, across from us.

"I don't know- I mean, you guys are always so... close. And I wasn't really friends with you back then. So I just assumed you were dating."

"Well, we're not." Teddy said, getting up and opening the TV again.

"Mm" Roxanne swallowed a chocolate. "Question: did you ever find each other attractive? Doesn't matter what age, or when, or why..."

I sighed and thought back.

Did I? I don't know.

"Teddy you go first." I threw him the pillow once again.

He was still standing next to the TV when he caught the pillow.

Alice took every chance and quickly laid next to Roxanne. Which took my whole will power not to react.

"I did." He sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Really?" I asked with a grin. "When?"

"Yeah Teddy," James' changed position on the floor, now his body looking directly at us. " When exactly? And how exactly?"

Teddy smiled and played with my hair. "About.... twenty five minutes ago when you kissed me for the bet."

huh! I knew I was a good kisser!

"Because of the kiss?" Fred asked.

"Yeap. And I must say, I think that kiss might be one of the best kisses I had."

"Aww." I put my head on his shoulder. "I am flattered." Roxanne laughed and I got a little closer to Teddy. "But I still ship you with Nico." I whispered and smirked.

"Huh," We looked at James and his eyes looked like they zoned out for a second. "I have a question too. Lily?"
