Stefan: katherine gets in the way

It was dark out. Very dark. As black as night. You see, Stefen, my boyfriend and vampire, told me to meet him at his house because there was something lurking around the town, and he didn't want me injured. I'm human, so Stefan is very protective of that, and he doesn't want to turn me into a vampire unless I want to. And by the way, I'm not ready to become a vampire just yet! Anyway, it was raining really hard, and it was almost impossible to see. Also, it just so happens that the road I am on, is completely deserted except for me and the cold harshness of the rain. Out of nowhere someone dressed in black was standing in the middle of the road. I didn't want to hit them, so I swerved to the side. But since the roads were slippery, my car flipped over. Then it went black.

Stefan's POV

"Where is she?" I asked damon as he came out from the kitchen with some bourbon in his hand.

"How am i supposed to know? Why don't you call her." He said

"You don't think I tried that alre-" but I was cut off as my phone began to ring. I picked it up and read that the contact name was y/n.

"Oh my god y/n! Where are you? I have been worried sick!" I asked shaky.

"Stefan, Stefan, Stefan. Y/n is in a little bit of trouble. You see, I stood in the middle of the road waiting for her to come, and all of a sudden. She flipped over, and now your precious y/n is a tad bit unconscious." The voice said with laughter. I froze, as did my heart.

"Who are you, and where the hell is y/n!?" I shouted into the phone with anger.

"Oh Stefan do not worry about who I am, but worry more about your girlfriend. If you don't do exactly what I say, well y/n will be a vampire, or more likely dead." The voice said.

"Please, please just don't hurt her. I will do anything you want, but please, just don't hurt her." I pleaded on the phone.

"Very good. Now, the only way to get her back is to kiss."

"To kiss?" I asked while i thought who the person was. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. "Katherine."

"Very good Stefan. Now if you don't want your girlfriend to die, meet me at the cemetery at midnight, and don't bring anyone with you." And with that the line went dead.

~times skip~

I walked to the cemetery, but obviously I brought damon and Elena, but I told them to hide so no one saw them. I know it is risky, but I need back up just in case. As I walked into the cemetery, I saw the Katherine with y/n. just the sight of her limp in Katherine's arms, with blood all over her, just made me cringe with anger and sadness.

"Now hand over y/n, and we can be done."

"Now now Stefan. Why would I want to hand over something so prized to you, without getting something in return?" She said with the same smirk.

"What do you want Katherine?" I asked with my teeth still clenched.

"I want for you to kiss me." She said.

"A kiss? A kiss means nothing so fine." I said while walking to her.

"No no no. I want you to kiss me in front of y/n, and make it look like you want me more than her." She said while laughing.

I had no other choice but to agree, and I would just compel her later to forget.

"And also, you cannot compel her to forget when our kiss is finished." She said.

Damn.

*sighs*"deal."

She set y/n down on ground, and out of nowhere slapped her.

"Don't you dare touch her!!" I screamed.

"Don't worry Stefan its only to wake her up, see." Katherine said while pointing to a groggy y/n.

"Y/n." I said as I rushed to her side.

I held her and wrapped her into a hug, before I was pulled away by Katherine.

"Now now Stefan. You now the plan." She said with an evil smirk.

Katherine then lifted up y/n and sat her back on a tombstone to hold her up.

"Stefan? Where am I? What's happening? Katherine, is that you?" Y/n was asking all of these questions.

I mouthed I'm sorry, before I pulled Katherine in for a kiss.

Your POV

Out of nowhere Stefan pulled Katherine in for a kiss. I was shocked, angry, and beyond sad, all at once. The kiss only lasted a few seconds,but it felt like hours. Once they pulled away, I stood up and began to run, as tears rimmed my eyes. But since I was still groggy, I fell.

"Y/n. it's not what it's supposed to be I promise." Stefan said while helping me up.

"Don't you dare touch me!" I screamed while pushing him off and holding myself up on a tombstone.

"Y/n please, it's not what it looks like." Stefan said with pleading eyes.

"I thought you loved me," I said while silent tears began to fall, "You. I'm gonna kill you!" I screamed while pointing to Katherine.

Once I finally felt I had enough energy, I pushed Stefan away and ran to Katherine with a mini stake in my hand. I always keep a stake with me at all times. Katherine just laughed and smiled. As she least expected it, I rammed the stake into her, but since she moved, it only got her shoulder. She screamed at first, but then got me by the neck and threw me into a tree. My whole body ached, and my vision was blurred.

"Stefan." Was all I managed to say before I blacked out again.

Stefan's POV

I look over at y/n and hear that she said my name before she went unconscious. I ran over to her and scooped her limp frame in my arms. I looked over at Katherine to see her smirk, them run off at vampire speed. I looked back at y/n and my heart shattered. I didn't even realize that I was crying until my tear droplets were falling on her beautiful face. I held her close to my body and made my way to damon and Elena.

"She's unconscious and has a few deep cuts. I wanna get her home fast and stitch them up." I said to the both of them.

"Stefan, just turn her into a vampire. This is the second head injury she's had in only a few hours, and those cuts are seriously deep. I don't know if she'll make it if we don't do anything." Elena said with sadness in her eyes.

I knew that it was true. I move her silky hair away from her neck, and bit down. Y/n then jolted awake. She looked around for a second, but once she realized what I did she did the unthinkable. She kissed me.

"I love you Stefan, and that bitch Katherine will never get in the way." She said before pulling me in for another kiss.
