As I sit in the classroom listening to my teacher and her lecture us on how fractions and decimals work, I stare at the clock watching the time tick by very very slowly. Like time has slowed down and is almost at a stop.
Ms. M: And that is how fractions and decimals are related, after recess, we will review what we did yesterday on the history of the USA. Have a good recess everyone.
(Recess bell rings)
I sat up and bolted to the door, I opened it and ran outside in the open air. It felt refreshing to have cold air hit me in the face. And then I heard it. A familiar voice, I voice that I knew well. It couldn't be her. Why was she here?
