Song: See you again
By: Wiz Khalifa and Charlie PuthLuke's pov
"Finding out that I was going to be a father, I was angry. I'm in a band and I was seventeen years old at the time. What seventeen year old would want a baby? Don't get me wrong though, I loved my girlfriend and I was going to take care of the baby like a great father should. I wasn't going to be a dead beat dad. My family and friends didn't approve of it but, they stayed by me and my girlfriend's side, since her parents weren't there for her. Everything went by smoothly until the day she gave birth. I don't know exactly what went wrong but, it did.
The only person that made it through the birth was my son. I was the one who had to call her family and tell them the news. They regretted the way they treated her when they found out about the pregnancy. They wanted to see the baby but, I wouldn't allow it. They don't deserve to. We are all mourning over my beloved girlfriend and mother of my child but I know one thing. The one who will mourn the most and worse, will be my son. I will be there for him.
Before he could go on to powdered milk we had to find a mother that was willing to breast feed him. Thankfully, she did with no pay. I will always thank her every time we meet and she will be trusted by me and hopefully my son. I'm glad she is here today. I'm glad you are all here today. Even her family. Although, you won't get to see my son you still came because she was your family. I hope you understand why I won't let you meet my baby, I bet if it wasn't for you daughter passing away you wouldn't care about her or the baby.
Now, I'm not going to make a commotion so thank you all for attending. Trust me, she is thankful. Ok now this is the official farewell to Lee Fallows, a daughter, sister, girlfriend, and mother. The daughter of Lynn Jackson, Eden Fallows. Girlfriend of myself, Luke Hemmings. Mother of Thomas Mika-Lee Fletcher Hemmings, yes I named him. Anyway, Lee you'll be missed dearly.
Thank you again for coming. Have a nice day."
I was the last person to leave the cemetery, I just had to watch them put her into her grave. To make sure she's really gone. I sat by her tombstone. "Lee, I'm sorry your shitty family came but, that's what all families do right? Attend the funeral even though they never really cared. I know you don't like me talking bad about them but, they deserve it. You always tried to find the best in people, babe. Mika is doing amazing, he looks a lot like me but, totally has your personality, the thoughtful side that is. I think he is trying to be like Michael though, he might only be three weeks old but, I can see it. Don't worry baby, when he gets older I'm going to tell him all about you. He'll love you even more once he knows how much you went through for him. I will make sure of that. He's safe in his father's hands don't worry. I'll be more responsible ok? I'll be a great role model, he needs that." I wiped the tears that were rapidly running down my face.
"I wish you were here to see him. He's my life. I'm going to do everything in my power to keep him safe and fed. I'm going to do better than I am with the band. Mika will never go hungry or anything I promise. Me and the boys will make sure of that. My family too. Speaking of family, yours sent me a paper for a court meeting or whatever. They're trying to get custody of our baby. I won't let it happen though. Not as long as I'm here. Even if something happens to me I put it on paper that Mika will go to my mother in Australia. I'll keep him away from them, just like you told me to. I have to go now. I'll bring Mika here one day when he's old enough. I love you Lee, always and forever."
With that said, I drove to my house that I share with the rest of the guys. They were in the living room watching TV. "Where is Mika?" I asked them noticing my mom was no longer here.
